Mikasa French Countryside 40-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 8

Gorgeous mint condition kudos to Amazon packaging . Other things in the box were not so lucky open containers and a Huge mess ... the box was smashed and liquid all in the boxes !

This set is everything I hoped it would be. Beautiful, and strong. They do not look or feel cheap. These dishes have a nice weight to them. While they are a little heavy, they are not as heavy as my old set of plain ceramics. I love the that they are not bright white, but are a creamy white. Pretty for every day, and I would be happy to use them for dinner guests. I use mine for my every day. So far they are holding up very well to the daily grind. With a family of five, they get a lot of use. No scrapes from forks or knives, and they do just fine in the dishwasher. I have a feeling that these are going to last my family for many years, and I plan on adding more from this pattern to my collection.

Great quality! I love this set and I enjoy eating off it. It is Mikasa, the real thing! The set is heavy and not light weight, and pictures of my meals on it looks stunning.

I wanted set for 12 so I ordered a set for 8 and set for 4 both same French Countryside. When received the cups for the set of 4 were large and the set for 8 is much smaller. I called Mikasa and they told me I should have looked at the details and would have seen the difference. I went back on Amazon, details were on set of 4 but not set of 8. Mikasa people told me I could order the cups I wanted online, I just spent $400 for the dishes and now I will need to spend additional money so I can have the matching set I wanted………..

Delivery was perfect! Came on time and was brought right to my door so I wouldn't have to try and lift an extremely heavy box! That allowed me to unload, a bit at a time, what I could safely handle into the house. And most of all, I was delighted to find that every dish was in perfect condition. Again, I'm very pleased with my new dinnerware & delivery.

The set is really nice for the price. However, the packaging is not the best. When my dinner set arrived one of the teacups was broken. My seating for 8 just went down to 7.

Perfect for a farmhouse or cottage

I've wanted these dishes for years. I finally found them for a great price! They shipped quickly and were well packaged. None were broken or chipped. They hold up well in the dishwasher and with everyday use. Plus, they're classic and stylish. So glad I bought them!

the design is beautiful and it looks very posh for this price. i recommend to anyone trying to find a set for fancy dinners / get togethers. good for regular use too.

Love the dishes, arrived on time..... BUT i only have 7 bowls. I would have given a 5 but I have checked box and counted numerous times and short a bowl...... AND MIKASA said its amazons issue . Other purchases have a link to report seller-- not this one. If there are issues with your order -good luck getting it resolved.
