Bose Replacement AE2 Ear Pads - Compatible with Bose SoundTrue AE2, AE1 & Around-Ear 2 Headphones (Black)

My Bose AE2 headphones were very well loved and in dire need of new ear pads. These were quick and easy to install with multiple options for the underlying driver mesh cover (I chose the blue covers that indicate left and right). I'd been using my headphones with the old, ratty covers for a long time and hadn't noticed how much the sound quality was diminished by virtue of having the foam smashed up against the speaker. With these new covers, the headphones are comfortable, look presentable, and sound as good as they did the first day I bought them! I'm so pleased to have new life breathed into these headphones at such a low cost.

Ordered these to replace the pads in my old Bose headphones. The first thing I noticed is how well everything was packaged. I got 2 pads, 4 dust protectors (a pair with the L and R letters and ones without), and even a plastic pry tool. There was a note card with a QR code that took me to a youtube video explaining how to replace the pads. The new pads are super comfortable. I liked the two options for the internal fabric piece. The installation video was great (card with link to video inside the box). The ear pad replacements feels like a great quality and though take a bit of skill to get installed it looks to be well worth it.

These ear pads are a great replacement at a good price! The only thing I found confusing is that the felt replacement material is not the same size as what is on my Bose AE2's or their video, namely they are small and don't have the cutout area. This is okay though since I only really needed to replace the pads. Would buy againAlso I have a pic but can't see where to put it atm

Very nice replacement, especially for 1/3 the price from Bose themselves. Great product video on installation. Made things super easy. If I knew it was this cheep and easy I’d have done this along time ago. Made my headphones sound and feel like new again. This was a mistake. It was entirely the wrong replacement kit for my Bose headphones. But retracing my steps, I discovered that my model of 2014 Bose headphones are no longer in sold or supported anywhere and it was my own mistake. Just life and learn. No further action required.

I was so happy to find these ear pads on Amazon. They really do fit around the ear and were easy to install. My husband says they are comfortble and work GREAT. These replacement ear pads brought my old headphones back to life. The quality is very good and I was able to install in just a few minutes. The instruction card that came in the box has a QR code for the instruction video. I was glad I watched it because otherwise I would have missed the step to remove the old adhesive left on the frames. The tool included made everything quicker and easier.
