39051 3-Dial Cam Lock, 1,000 Possible Combinations, 1-Pack, 3/4 Inch Length, Chrome

Update 7-17-17One of the two i purchased can no longer be unlocked. The combination fails to allow the knob to turn rendering this permanently locked. I must now contemplate destroying my furniture to gain access to the contents. CANNOT RECOMMEND.Combination numbers get stuck. I purchased two of these and both of them have "sticky" combination dials. They do not scroll easily, and require quite a bit of force to move, often getting stuck. This makes locking and unlocking quite difficult and reduces security as now I don't want to move the number dial too far away from the unlock position because of the labor of of applying careful force to a tiny dial in an effort to move it.I also find that the rotating knob to be quite large and bulky. It drastically changed the appearance of my sleek nightstand. Since the installation requires permanently modifying your furniture or drawer (requires drilling a large 3/4" hole through the material), there's no way to undue the install.

I found it confusing to try and measure my mailbox, then when I tried to install this there were tons of strange parts that didn't really fit, and it's still not working terribly well.

Works well. Keeps dumb firemen out of the other shifts pantry.

The listing is incorrect/inconsistent. At the top of the product page it is listed (and pictured) as having a black finish. Lower down the page in the product details it says it's chrome. The part number on the manufacturer's website also says it's chrome. I ordered this hoping to get a black one but received the chrome version. I want the black version, but after looking at the other amazon listings by CCL Security they have this color inconsistency problem on other combination cam locks. The part number for their black unit shows a chrome photo and two different colors listed in the details. I'm really not certain what I will receive on my second order attempt.

Completely worthless. Numbers are so small it's impossible to turn one without the others turning, and very difficult to see. I installed it on my mailbox but have now gone back to the key. Waste of money, and it didn't come with the parts listed. Lastly description said chrome but it's black. I waited too long to install it and realize how bad it was and then it was over 30 days, too late to return.

Parts were missing and it did not work had to get a different one and Amazon thank you for taking care of this for me ASAP

This is perfect. I put it on an IKEA drawer set that I have. It keeps my wife and kids out of my good pens stamps and other items that I don't want to get lost! Things have a way of just walking off in this house! It keeps "my drawer" as mine

Works perfectly. No unnecessary key. Installed on mail box. Simple to change code.
