Men only have one title, "Mr.". Why the need for 2 for women? Miss vs. Mrs. has its roots in gender inequality and class inequality. It denotes you are now the property of your husband, when a "Mrs.". The world does not need to define us by marital status. Let's keep it "Ms." for all women, since men only have one title- let's be fair to both genders!
