If you love your account like I do, this is the second one, my first cat. I had 21 years, I just had a lay her down in November, she had the first miss snuggles and she loved it, and she's slept with it every night, and it literally does proper 2 minutes, unless you shut the Botton off when she passed my 6 month old cat, now it was handed down to him, well, he's slept with in it, literally, between biscuits and loving it, don't worry, it's still press. Also I ordered another one came today, he sleeps with it, he goes everywhere with it, he loves it, he takes it to the right Wilson is cat bag without that in the cat bag it's a must buy on my second one and the other one still works it's just that it was my cat I have for 21 years so Prince the cat I have now deserves to have his own so yeah if you love your animals like a human being like I do buy them on it's the best toy any one of my cats ever own and like I said it's my second one and the other one still works but it's a little beat up between love and biscuit and with two cats but anyway and you can wash them take the thing out of it and my cat is a Bombay he's so smart he turns it on himself when he's doing biscuits I put the button facing up on the back so he can press it down and turn it on he's very intelligent if you love your animal you must buy in this toy it'll awesome forever and it really does Pearl for 2 minutes and if he's sick of hearing it just push the button and it will shut off and it's the best Pearl and kitty it ain't snowing like they say it's purring and it is so swag Man by your baby it it's a must have

Super soft and cute but the purring sound is very loud and unrealistic. It frightened my cat and gave me the creeps. I ended up taking out the purr box and now my cat occasionally snuggles the plushie.

What a terribly designed product. I bought it despite issues others reported with the purring mechanism because I figured I could remove the mechanism and put in something like a warm rice bag or some catnip.First, the opening to remove the purring mechanism is *barely* big enough to get the mechanism in/out, you really have to force it. Then once it's out, to add batteries you need a screwdriver to remove the battery cover rather than just having a tension latch. I did all that and hit the button and it makes some pretty loud/not purring sounds. I figured it'd might sound okay once back inside the animal, but it turns out it ONLY ever made noise if I wsa firmly holding down the button, meaning it wouldn't actually make noise for my cat anyway.I still figured "Hey, I bought it for the animal itself, not the mechanism, this is fine," but the innards of the animal has some sort of crinkly fabric inside that makes crinkle noises when moved that I know my cat won't like either. This disappointed me in all the ways I expected and ways I never imagined. Immediate return.

I bought this for my kitten and he was not interested with it. The purr box is loud, annoying and sounds like a pig. I took it out. My Yorkie laid claim to it so I guess all is well.

Wasn’t working but got it working…cancel replacement

My cat is so picky....or egotic (lol) that it did not even give it a look so I had to return it. That being said this toy was absolutely adorable. I never heard it purrrrrrr though so I am not sure the mechanism was working properly. There was a pouch to fill with catnip too. A very good quality fur that is definitely smooth for an anxious cat and honestly one could think it is an infant toy. Very well done and so nice

Cute enough, I hate the feel of the "fur" on it myself it gives me the ick to touch. Purr box hard to access, doesnt come with batteries, so almost ripped opening to get box out and add batteries. As others stated, doesnt have a click opening, need an itsy bitsy screwdriver to open, beware not to drop that tiny screw you will never find again.My real problem with it is the extremely short amount of time the purr stays on. I am ok with how loud it is, and think it sounds realistic enough, my cat def noticed the sound the second I turned it on and came to investigate, but then got scared of it.But if this is supposed to help calm your pet with separation anxiety, it sure wont work, its barely stays on, and the push activation would NOT be easy for a pet to do on their own. I have to push several times myself, in exact right spot to even activate it!So all around its pretty useless.

Sound is to loud. Need to have switch to continue the sound
