Jinhao Fountain Pen Ink Refill Cartridges International Standard Size, 30 PCS, Black Color

I recently purchased my first fountain pen, and I was at a bit of a loss when the cartridge that came with it ran low. It is a high-end pen, and I wanted to be sure that I would continue to get a good writing experience with my next ink as I did with the first. I have been extremely pleased with my choice and have no cause for complaint. The ink has a nice dark color (except for the time I didn't dry out the nib completely after cleaning it) and it flows nicely unless I've left the pen unused for several days when it takes only a little coaxing to get going again. I would have preferred a longer cartridge like what my pen originally had, but changing it out is easy. I found that the best technique to get the ink in the new cartridge going is to bend it a little while trying to write before re-assembling the pen (some people discussed biting the cartridge, which seems more risky to me).

In the batch I received, the ink is an even black. It dries dark on paper and feeds smoothly, even using extra fine nibs. The cartridge shape is flared at the back by just a bit too much for my slimmer pen bodies. The mouths have so far fit onto all of my international fountain pens with good seals and only a few re-seats.

Very smooth ink that is quick drying. My only complaint is that it arrived 1 week after the original due date. This was originally promised 2nd day delivery yet it took 9 days to arrive.

This ink is smooth and does not skip. It does take alot of soap to wash off if you get it on your hands. If you get it on your clothes well they are ruined.

Product is as advertised and keeps me from making a huge mess when refilling my pen. Would buy again!

The ink s great but the cartridge does not fit as well as the one that comes with the pen.

These are great if you are using a fountain pen that takes refill cartridges. I've noticed that the ink in these does dry rather quickly (4-6 days if left unused), but if you know that going in, these are an excellent low cost alternative to more expensive refills.

These are International Standard (IS) cartridges, meaning 2.6mm fitting, and can be long or short. These are long.I ordered all black. I've had colours before - orange is good for art perhaps, but not great for letterwriting or shopping lists.These cartridges fit my Dikawen, Baoer, Jinhao, Duke, Moonman and Montblanc fountain pens. They also fit Herbin and Schneider rollerballs that accept cartridges. Montblanc cartridges are slightly fatter than I.S. so they can get stuck in some pens, but IS cartridges always fit Montblanc pens. There was resistance with the Dikawen. A tight fit. I stand the cartridge upright on a table, fit the nib unit in place and press it down on the cartridge. That's easier than doing it in the air. Hero - these cartridges fit regarding the 2.6mm fixing hole, and fit models such as 7031, 7035, but some pens are so thin they need Hero cartridges or converters. Platinum are proprietary - only their cartridges will fit their pens. Parker, Yiren and Aihao use 3.4mm fitting.One reviewer said the cartridges were tiny and that his Jinhao pens took big Parker cartridges. Nonsense. These are the longer IS cartridges of standard IS width. The reviewer is confused.I can't find anything wrong with these cartridges, and was pleasantly surprised that they were long, after reading dodgy reviews. I notice these cartridges are cheaper than others offered on Amazon. I'm ignoring the 25 in a bag ones which a lot of people, including me, can't pierce or start no matter how hard they are pushed.

Usually when we order ink, it arrives loose packed in a plastic bag, which we then have to find a container for or the cartridges end up all over the drawer. When this product arrived, we were quite surprised that they were packed into 5 cartridge boxes. This makes for neat and easy storage and I rather wish other companies would think like this. The cartridges fit the Jinhao pens perfectly, although they do require quite a bit of pressure to pop the seal on the cartridge. Ink is good quality and flows well without spotting or pooling. Colour consistency is also good.

Neatly packaged with 5 in a box, the quality ink flows fairly when writing and cartridges last long.Though not a complaint, just remember to hold your pen firmly as it takes a slightly stronger push when inserting the cartridge into the pen.

I tried to get one them into four pens of different makes (in which I have of course used cartriidges many times) and could not get it over the nib nozzle, breaking one pen in the process. Clearly there is NOT an international standard for ink cartriges. I shall be sending them back.

Although I have many Jinhao pens, I thought I was ordering replacement ink cartridges for them. Turns out originals were larger & better quality Parker 'Quink' units. These are miniscule. No idea how long they'd last as they just rattle about inside pens without writing. If you CAN get them to write, I can only imagine that they won't last long at all because they're so small. Big disappointment.
