- Hand-Painted Light Bulbs are my own ORIGINAL creation, manifesting at age seventeen when I was not allowed by my parents to paint a mural in my bedroom. I had done murals with a projector and assumed painting my light bulb would create the same effect. The first time I tried nail polish on a 100 watt light bulb which burst into flames when I lit it up! It took about a year and a half to figure out the paint and that began in 1996!
- MoodLight Bulbs are individually hand painted completely freehand with high temp acrylics and project the painted image and colors onto the walls and ceiling or onto any white lampshade! The paint is permanent and safe for kids, pets, and the rest of the planet! Used with a white shade the image and colors cast into the shade and without a shade project onto the walls and ceiling.
- Each Bulb is 25 watts & has a Universal Base (Edison 26mm) that fits any standard screw in base (26-27mm). Voltage: -We ship 120v Bulbs for all of the Americas and the Western Hemisphere. -and 220v Bulbs for the Europe, Indonesia, Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, and the rest of the Eastern Hemisphere. -Please specify if you need a voltage different than your shipping address indicates (i.e. for a gift, or if you are traveling from one hemisphere to the other)
- Orientation: -Most designs are universal and are intended to be used in all fixtures whether they are upside down, rightside up, or sideway! -More detailed designs like landscapes and symbols are intended to be used rightside up in a stand up lamp near the wall or in a corner. The average life is 3-5 years with 8 hours of use daily though, and have been known to frequently last more than 10 years with daily use.
- I guarantee my paint to be permanent and will NEVER melt, burn, fade, peel, crack, bubble, smoke, smell, etc... EVER! It will NOT emit any sort of toxic fumes or offgas in any way. Most craft paints will not withstand the heat from a light bulb even a 25 watt bulb. I also guarantee my lights to last at least a year or you get a FREE one!
This Bulb casts Blue Sky & White Clouds throughout the room projecting the colors and image onto the walls, or a lampshade. Will work on any light colored walls or lampshade! Clouds may come, but clouds must go, and they all have a silver lining. For behind each cloud you know, the sun, or moon, is shining.
