Used the straight scissor to remove one stitch from one cat, only took one cut and one try. A few days later caught another cat ready to have stitches removed and cut three stitches pretty easily, I did have to make two attempts with one stitch, but I've never tried this before now. Nope, I have zero experience and no training, just watched it too many times on myself and critters. They have no point and works as intended. Just as pictures and described. Cleaned with alcohol and ready to use again. Just need to find a nice container now.

These are great suture scissors. I was getting annoyed at the suture kits our hospital provides because the scissors in those packages aren't sharp enough to cut through the stiches, so you end up yanking and pulling more than you should. These scissors are sharp enough to cut sutures and the angled end is an added bonus. Overall, very pleased with these little scissors!

I have used these to remove sutures without issue. They seem to be holding up fine.

These don't cut for s***.

These will work for suture removal but not as high quality as I had hoped. I was hoping for a small, more precise instrument.
