What a disappointment
After just over six months of light use, the seat has cracked almost in half. Up until this happened, we were quite pleased with the chair - even though the wheels did not work properly - it was fine. But now, it will have to go in the bin. My advice is - DON'T BUY IT...

Stylish and at a great price
Like the style, learnt to drive on a Massey Ferguson 35 (was very young at the time) so brings back memories. Not a lot of back support but okay for my occasional use in the office. Great price and easily assembled.

Easy come, easy go.
The seat is surprisingly comfortable—part of the reason I went for this style of tractor seat—with the "back rest" an actually dangerous joke. Where most parts simply slot together and press-fit, largely held together by gravity or the weight of the occupant, the back rest takes two forks and threads them into circular holes in the seat, which seem to have been implemented as a plate glued on. Which experiences all of the force your back, weight, and mechanical advantage of the lever arm that is the "back rest" can apply. Which is a lot of force, and not much ability to withstand it. TL;DR, it's the first "chair" I've ever purchased where a part has literally snapped off. But only mostly off. Incredibly bad back support attachment point.

Looks pretty good. Really springy gas lift and sent the wrong version.
It looks good, is well packaged and feels reasonably sturdy putting it together. I ordered the version with feet but got the one with castors -which I could live with.Main problem is that the gas lift is like a pogo stick. It sinks 75-100mm in height when I sit on it - meaning that you have to hoist your butt up about 4" above the height you want to sit at in order to even get on the seat. Then when you go to get off, it springs up underneath you and tries to knock you off balance. All together this makes it a bit useless and a bit dangerous as a higher stool. Probably avoid if you don't want to lose your teeth on the edge of the desk/counter after trying to stand up off this thing.Thought it might just be me at 100kg but my 30kg nine yr old has the same problems. It'll be going back but I don't fancy ordering another as I don't know if it's gonna have the same problem. I do wish amazon could just send what I ordered in working condition....but that seems too much.

A great chair for sit/stand setups
OverviewI was getting some heel pain from my standing setup and decided to sit part of the time, so I bought this drafting chair. I am 5'7", so the height adjustability of this chair is great (but I can't speak for taller people). For me, it can go as low as a normal chair to bar stool height.I chose this chair over padded chairs because I find the padding flattens/sags over time. I figured I could just get a seat pad if it was an issue. This chair ended up being surprisingly comfortable. I don't get any butt pain when sitting on the chair for a full working day.The Good Parts* Tractor style seat is quite comfortable* Has a back (you don't have to install it if you don't want to)* Has a foot rest (you don't have to install it if you don't want to)* Has slider feet with indentations for Feltac - you should be able to use standard casters with this chair if you want them* Easy to assemble - takes about 10-15 minutes depending on how handy you are* Well made, feels solid* Good seat height range (approximately 20-30")* Comes in a variety of colours* Well priced for what you getSome People May Not Like* Doesn't come with casters* No arms* Back is not adjustable* Foot rest is not adjustable* Not padded* At its maximum height, might not be a good idea to lean back on it
