Really good roller, so good I used it with emulsion on inside walls, lovely job and no splatter at all!

I was really hoping that this small roller would work on my very long fence. My fence was constructed with rough sawn wood as opposed to fence panels so I wasn’t sure how successful it would be and unfortunately it wasn’t great. I was using a well known fence paint which was the normal consistency of paint.its performance was poor. I found using the roller really difficult. It splashed paint everywhere and missed large areas of fencing. There was more paint on me than on the fence! I think the surface of the roller needed to be far fluffier. The size of the roller was perfect but the results were rubbish. I actually stopped using it with half an hour and used a large brush instead. I have kept the roller handle because it will be useful for small places indoors with a different roller head on. It’s perfectly durable and should last a long time and it was excellent value for money. Such a shame it didn’t work for me.

Used to paint my fence,was easy to use,though would recommend wearing gloves as handle got a bit slippy but other than that was lighweight+perfect for the job

Functionality and speed on my decking.Just the right size for oiling/treating my decking, I bought one last year to do the same job, that one disappeared via one of my sons not to be seen again.they are such good value, a good quality 4" roller, (I use with a long brush hadle) easy to use and easy to clean after use.Using this roller will cut the time of using a brush by far.
