Partition Became Corrupt After 2 Weeks Use | SMART Failure Unacceptable Read Errors
I installed, formatted, and begin using the disk in a windows system. I transferred about 5TB of roms onto it and was slowly importing them into Retroarch. One day after about 2 weeks it was hanging when scanning on the Nintendo Wii roms. I was remoted into my machine at work so I let it run for several hours. After making no progress I attempted to kill the application via task manager which seemed to complete. I attempted to restart Retroarch however it was failing to launch (this was not installed on that drive). This seemed to hang so I issued a reboot. My machine seemed to fail to come online remotely.Once I got off work I found the computer was still in a rebooting state however Windows had not crashed as the mouse cursor was able to be moved and caps lock on the keyboard light indication was responsive. As it had been attempting to reboot for about 6 hours I issued a hard power off. I powered the machine back on and everything seemed fine. The next morning I went to use the disk and begin importing roms again however I noticed Windows did not see the partition. In reviewing with the Windows disk management tool the partition was listed as RAW and Windows wanted to format it. I attempted using test disk to recover the partition (which did show up) however this did not work. I attempted running a checkdisk on it however Windows stated it could not work with RAW partitions. I attempted converting the disk to NTFS using diskpart via commandline however Windows stated it was already NTFS.I booted into a Linux recovery environment and the partition appeared to be present however it was unmountable with the system stating it was unrecognized. I booted back into Windows and used the manufacturer Seagate Seatools to check the disk and it stated the SMART data indicated an unacceptable number of read errors present. At this point I got on with Amazon support and they recommended I attempt reformatting the disk however I let them know I consider the disk defective and we are currently in a refund process together.I am willing to bet this may have been a 1 off manufacturing issue and perhaps other drives produced in this manner are ok however my experience was extremely poor.-Jordan

10 TB Seagate Enterprise Hard Drive
Outstanding price for a 10TB Enterprise HDD. Purchased this drive for a backup drive capability to remove the need for online storage that will soon include taxes in my state. I purchased a HDD external case to go with this drive, and it works seamlessly in Windows 11 Pro.

Works like it supposed to
I bought 3 of these drives from different sellers. This seller is the only one that gave me the drive in the description. All the others sent me the wrong sku or a dell bulk version. Very satisfied with the fast shipping and seller.

Decent HDD, verify the sellers and hold them accountable
Received 4 drives shipped by Maestro Technology LLC appeared to be sold/shipped as new. After 3 months one of the drives is showing as failing from a S.M.A.R.T. scan on my NAS. Unable to return as I'm out of the window but I do not recommend purchasing from this seller as even trying to contact them from their amazon page it has a phone number that does not work and the chat support pushes you to amazon customer service that has no way to assist you.

Old/Used Drives Misrepresented as New!
Avoid like the plague! One of the drives is going bad and lo-and-behold, the Seagate warranty period expired in 2022! Shame on me for not reading the reviews more carefully and immediately checking warranties during the return period.!
