Can this machine be used for cooling a small cabinet?

No. This is a fully functioning engine used as a teaching tool to demonstrate how energy(heat) can be transformed into mechanic work. As far as function, it can then turn that mechanic work into electrical energy through the small generator via an light an led it comes with it. You can also reverse the leads on the led light to show resistance which slow the engine. It serves no practical real life application other that to teach and it has definitely stuck up several conversations and intrest by others who see it and are curious. When they see it run properly they are shocked at the speeds in which this tiny little engine operates. Even more surprised when they learn the rmps are laughable compared to an internal combustion engine for in their cars. 5/5 for one who's interested in seeing and educating others on the principles of a heat engine.

Does anyone know how to replace the glass element, I don't see any set screws or any kind of joint for disassembly. Thank you

I have never had to replace the glass, but I did have the same question so I contacted sunnytech and they said that the bulb has rubber o-rings to hold it in and to simply pull it out. Hope this helps you.

Is this available in a "kit" form that requires assembly by the user?

Is it fully assembled. I have not seen any kits.

Convert from 🔥 to solar? Using reflective condenser?

It really doesn’t take a whole lot of heat to get this neat little gadget working, so my guess would be a reflective (solar?) condenser would do the job. It’s certainly worth a try.
