Solid easy to install and operate
Well made security latch. Mark and drill the receiving bolt hole on the stationary door before mounting the latch. Luckily holes drilled by previous owner for a spring bolt were perfect. Suggest using a 3/16 or small pilot drill. Avoid drilling too large a hole which can strip. Only get one chance to get it right. Mounting screws included.

Perfect fit
The latch on this house must have been 20 years old and was broken. This latch fit the holes perfectly and the pin operates smoothly. Highly recommended.

Exactly what I wanted. Excellent quality easy install arrived earlier than expected.

Okay, but not great
The product is exactly what is pictured but to mount it on a sliding door is not that easy. The slotted screw channels are in the center of the metal plate and cause the item to be offset on the door frame. There is not enough space to mount it in the center of the door frame.
