Works well with Visible - Support is great
(sim 7) Didn't have any experience with sim routers like this, so, watched several videos and reviews and while there were mixed thoughts about this product, the overall concensus was good so i went ahead and purchased it.The visible phone showed up, activated the sim card and put it in the router. 5 minutes later it was up & running. 10 minutes later it was dialed in and getting reasonable bandwidth. Granted the speed isn't what you would get directly on a phone, but it's certainly good enough to watch videos, tv, run your security system and etc.Had a question about band lock, support responded within 12 hours which i thought was good. Their answer was relevant, clear and consise.I recommend the product and the company based on the experience i have with the mofi router.FYI - System has been up & running and providing internet access in a rural area for about 3 weeks now with zero down time.No problems with Visible, super easy to configure and get running.

Super easy setup
I removed the SIM card out of my cell phone. Put it in the Mofi and within 2 minutes we were hooked up and running. When I check my provider I was still using my unlimited cell phone data. Even though it recognized the Mofi as a router it did not report my usage as tethering. My provider caps tethering but it appears that I will be on my unlimited magenta plan. Kudos to Mofi what a great product

Very capable box, but glitchy
I am a networking professional with good cellular background. The MOFI4500 series is a very capable box, but it can be difficult to program. If you are GOOD with configuring home routers, then you will probably be ok with programming this unit.I set it in the window of a 2 story house and was able to get 3 bars out of 5 LTE service. I set everything up and got it running. After everything was tweaked, I disconnected the LTE paddle antennas and hooked up some roof long range antennas. The external antennas did NO BETTER than the paddle antennas. The external antennas just made it easier to set the MOFI on a shelf away from the window and keep it safer from being knocked out of the window.Getting band-aggregation operational was pretty tricky. I watched several YouTube videos on it, but it ultimately came down to experimentation to get it working. The SIM8 version is what I got, and it does work with the VISIBLE cellular plan. You just have to set up and register a phone first, and then move the sim over to the MOFI.I wished that I could change the identification of the MOFI to what my phone is, or modify my IMEI to what my phone is. I know that this is HIGHLY frowned upon by the FCC, so don't ask for that. I am able to get anywhere from 3Mb down to 50Mb down. It all depends on the carrier and if they are busy or not at the time. I am very rural and use this as my main Internet connection. I am able to stream Roku most any time without problems. The WiFi seems to be a bit glitchy at times. I am running it as my WiFi router and stream from a NAS on my network. I have full control of the WiFi environment where I am, so there is no interference. I find that my streaming will just STOP at times and then have trouble stabilizing for a few seconds. It has to be the WiFi router/switch side of the MOFI with issues. I will work around this problem with other hardware that I have on hand. Just be aware that you may have glitches on the WiFi side at times. The WiFi range of it seems really good.

Installation was a snap!
T-Mobile doesn't offer home internet in my area and cable and satellite are pricey. So I only have a hotspot for all of my internet needs. I was pleased that this was easy to install (I am over 65 years old) and that it's truly making a difference in the quality and strength of my internet. Now if it could only increase the speed. (Lol)

Mofi 4500 works great
Had tried less costly modem routers but they didn’t work as advertised. Mofi works great and lots of settings to tweak for your personal use.

RV remote travel
This has been a great purchase. We spend time in the mountains of Tennessee and in the remote areas where there’s no Internet Boondocking. We have not lost Internet yet and are quite pleased. Keeping consistent Internet has been a problem and that is why we were looking for a solution, I think we found it.

I do not recommend
I received my item on April 14. It didn’t work, I thought maybe it was the internet provider so had to wait to receive another sims card. It still didn’t work. I emailed several times, wld get one reply but that’s all. I wrote a review.I had a tech guy call on my behalf and company said the warranty was void unless I took down my review. Then was told I wld have to pay 150 and rec 120 back when they got original item back (minus 30 for shipping)I have no bn very happy at all w the company service!I wld not recommend
