Interesting Premise, Not The Usual Outlaws & Ranchers/Lawman Tale.
A fun read. Lots of improbable shootouts and confrontations as is the norm for this author. A good bit of comedic dialog and interesting characters. The good guys always suffer injuries and wounds with remarkable recovery times and ability to carry on. Fortunately there's no love interest involved.Would like to see more of this series.

Great Read
Just a good old western. I love characters and the plot. You don’t want it to end. Can’t wait to read the next one!

Good
Well, I did like Rollie. He was mostly a good man with some good friends. Justice counted to them all and I liked it that most of the main characters were in the older generation. I recommend this series to those who appreciate that older can still mean exciting.

I read this book in about 4 days...
The last book by another author that I read took a month and a half and was drudgery. This one was exciting. I think that the final battle should have been shorter. And I think that the main character should have left town to avoid further bloodshed.

Good Read
Fast moving western as William Johnston always presents but with a new character but believable plot. If you want a good read, this book is for you.

Hmm
Not that impressed with this one.

OK I suppose
I found the story line a bit repetitive in parts as people kept trying to kill Rollie. There is a plot but seriously stretched out.
