Conversational Japanese Dialogues: Over 100 Japanese Conversations and Short Stories (Conversational Japanese Dual Language Books)

I can read enough Japanese to recognize hiragana and katakana but not the more complex kanji. So I appreciate that this book of conversation uses the kana to write the dialogs as well as kanji, which is broken down through furigana. For beginners, each dialog is also written out in romaji too. The dialog is also translated into English at the end of each chapter, which encouraged me to figure out the meaning from the Japanese alone before turning to the translation.Aside from the format, the book also proved enjoyable because of the topics of conversation, which covered such everyday activities as ordering dinner, going to the gym, or commenting on a cute dog. It's a nice change from conversation books that only cover business or travel.

This is an optimal product for learning Japanese. For beginners, it's always important to learn via audio at first which the audiobook provides. I'm also really impressed how the furigana is displayed in the paperwhite kindle. I haven't seen many products perfectly align it above the kanji like this on the display. All together, it's clear that a lot of thought and effort was put into making a high quality product for language learners.I don't write many reviews, but this stands out as a product I'm happy to do so for.

I have kindle version of this book. And I gotta say, I love it. They use real conversations which allows you to increase your vocabulary and your reading skills. Small tip: It's best to read the sentences out loud to get a better understanding. I also like how the sentences are first in kana/kanji then in romaji. The next page is translated into english so that you know what you just read. I like it. Nice and simple. You get 510 pgs worth of good content.

I was stationed in Japan about 30 years ago in the US Navy. I tried to learn the language then but i was deployed too much to make much headway. This book looks like the way back to some degree of fluency for me. So far, I love it. I now have some time to devote to it and I am actually having fun. I look forward to the next volume.

This is a great resource to get used to different situations and what to expect. Sometimes the hardest part about studying a language is just knowing out of all the synonyms, which is the one that is frequently used. This book does a great job letting you see common situations where different words and grammar would be used. Glad to have it!

This book is really good for learning common expressions and natural Japanese. However, the lack of a dictionary is a big downside. I find myself constantly checking a dictionary in order to read this. Also, a brief explanation of the grammar used in each story would have been great.

I'm enjoying this book so far - a lot of the Japanese is a bit over my head still, but that's how you learn! The dialogues are about as natural as didactic materials can be, and I appreciate the inclusion of furigana as my kanji bank is still very low.All in all, another useful supplement from the Lingo Mastery team!

I really like finding this bright new material to teach Japanese. There are many textbooks and workbooks, but Graded readers are not so common. This book has 105 different stories so it's perfect. I would like it has some pictures, but maybe the next version.Thanks to Lingo Mastery for this useful material.
