You won't want this to be your only 'party light', unless you enjoy migraines, but at GBP11 when purchased this is very good value for money and a solid addition to my DJ light setup as my fourth or fifth light. (Best to start with PAR cans and/or moving head washes.)

Remote worked fantastically but even in a small sized lounge virtually no light travelled. Connection loose and worked intermittently. Would invest more money if looking for something more substantial. Easily returned and dealt with

These lamp are good quality for the money you pay. Fully remote control main power strobe lighting.Would recommend them.

Remote seems really difficult to understand but overall is a decent product.Very bright and the settings work as they should.Only issue is the power on the back is confusing to use, as the remote can reverse which way you turn it on.

When I plugged this item in, I could feel a little tingle from the casing, when touching the casing with a non contact volt stick, the casing is actually live!This item could potentially kill someone.I am a qualified electrician by trade, I understand the dangers of electricity.

So the "auto speed" does nothing, it's not "auto" at all, it just let's you kind of have some sort of manual control of the speed from a distance, when it works. It's very unclear if your remote input has done anything, or even if you're in the right mode, or if the modes are making any difference over the position of the knobs on the strobe itself.It doesn't cycle through different speeds on its own, you have to put up with the same constant speed unless you sit there playing with the controls the whole time... that defeats the entire point of an auto mode!Being smaller than the 240 LED option I thought this would be slightly less bright but holy frick this thing is bright, too bright for a bedroom, and there is no brightness control.The manual is useless, there are no real instructions, one of the knobs has a click off and the other doesn't but there's no explanation for it. The red is significantly dimmer than the other colours which is annoying.I'm sure we'll get a few minutes out of it at a party but really it's a poor show as you have to manually control the strobe speed. Microphone control only affects the on/off status when it hears sound but it doesn't affect the strobing speed.For a proper party light it needs to be able to strobe and then switch through some solid colours without flashing before going back to strobe during more bassy parts of songs, and automatically adjust the strobing speed to match the music.
