While this product got mostly favorable reviews, I was not impressed. To begin with, I use a shaving bowl, brush and safety razor. By the time I got my face lathered up, it felt like most of the oil had been rinsed/washed off, and I really couldn't tell much difference. I also wonder if prolonged use of this oil might 'gunk' up my shaving brush. Adding to that, I use a 2 pass method with the second pass against the grain. It's the second pass where 'the rubber meets the road' and by then there can't be any oil left. Beyond that, I shave in the shower, so I don't have a counter to set the bottle on; a squeeze bottle, for me, would be easier to work with than the pump. Finally, it makes my hands slippery: I use a Rockwell 6S razor which can cost upwards to $100 and the thought of it slipping out of my hands and dropping on the shower floor is not a pleasant one. For ME it didn't seem to be a benefit.

hello, good afternoon, I used the product, unfortunately it did not meet my expectations, for two main reasons, the first is that it has a too oily sensation that leaves the skin very oily, difficult to remove, so much so that the sink is impregnated and it is difficult to remove with just soap. There is tional mind I bought the one that does not have an odor looking for it to be the least allergenic but its characteristics assimilate the smell of a common cooking oil. I think that for the price there are better options on the market like Cocoon Line.

Most preshave oils cost $20 to $45 for a 2-ounce bottle. This one is nice for the quantity of oil you receive. I put it on before I run the water and hop in the shower and it's ready by the time I shave.

I really wanted to try this oil. But, like some other reviewers, when it arrived it was leaking. The protective piec that's supposed to be attached to the bottle had come off and was inside the lid instead.Ah, well. Back to Amazon.

I'm a barber and I use it for Shaves. It works very well and the essence it's very nice. I do order both with and without essence. Some clients are sensitive to any kind of smells.So far great product. Great price and its very rich product.
