The female end of the cord the socket is extremely tight to remove a plug. It is so tight that I normally need to resort to using a screwdriver to unseat it. Otherwise, it is a good product with flexible cord.

Great product flexibility heavy duty solid plug ends thick insulation very happy with this purchase. Note when you first open the box the smell from the insulation is a bit strong but goes away in a few days no issues at all.

It's just long enough for what I needed

This extension cord is very thick and heavy. It’s a great value for the price. I purchased the 8 gauge 40 foot version, which I quickly realized was much longer than I needed but that’s not a bad thing.Both plugs seem sturdy and well made and the insulation feels durable. The cord is very heavy so that should mean plenty of copper inside.I would recommend this extension cord to anyone who needs a well made external cord for 220v.

This 20 ft cord gives me the extra room to work around my garage to do my welding, and it was inexpensive and works great with my Lincoln mig180 welder.

Bought this for my Level 2 EV charger, as the 240V receptacle in my garage is in the opposite corner from the charging port on my car. The extension cable works perfectly. Even at full charger load (24 amps) the cable does not get warm or show any signs at all of stress. Seems very well constructed. I am expecting many years of service from it.

I bought a 20’ 8/3 cord when I first bought my welder.Plugging it into the 220 outlet for my shop heater near the ceiling got old fast.So I looked for a 40-50’ I could just leave in place.This cable was the best value and I am pretty happy with the product.The cable is thick as my other 8 AWG cable but is made with a flexible rubber insulation so is not stiff.I also measured and it is a true 40’.I’m a happy camper.
