We take small rods of brass, hammer the end of them flat, and then smooth dow the edges. All of these are then wrapped around one main choker piece, and gold rope is woven around the rods to keep them hanging together. The necklace is relatively lightweight and although each individual brass hammered fringe is rigid, the necklace as a whole is flexible and will adjust itself to fit perfectly on your chest. The twisted and entwined gold rope allows the necklace to move like a snake, or like a wave - making it extremely comfortable and fitting. The hammered brass pieces and the rope move from end to end of the main choker piece, which means that you don't have to worry about it shifting awkwardly while you wear it. The gold rope is taught on the brass pieces so you don't have to worry about them coming unraveled.
