They work but not smoothly
These were purchased to use on a pen to keep our pets in. They are stainless steel but they do not slide smoothly and require giggling to get the bolt to move. They do work but it takes a little work to make them work.

These are amazing but I would say the rods are too short. When it's "locked" you can still force things open...🤷♀️
