I've been using classic Nespresso capsules for years. When there was a really good sale on Prime Day I decided to give this machine a shot. The coffee is rich and comes out with a lot of crema. The taste is distinct from the original capsules. The machine itself is fantastic and has been working well so far. The machine understands the method of preparation by reading a circular bar code on the capsule itself.

The machine is a joy to use, very good quality and at an unbeatable price by Amazon.

Wide variety of coffees to choose from, very tasty. Machine super easy to use, easy to clean. Coffee is so nice, this will save me money as I don't feel the same need to pop into a coffee shop! Definitely recommend. Pods are not cheap but considerably cheaper than buying a coffee in a coffee shop!

UPDATE: The first machine I had was defective but Amazon issued the replacement the same day I reported the fault and I had an identical replacement delivered the following day. This Nespresso Vertuo Plus (Magimix) machine is working fine and I have had no problems at all with it. Now that I've had longer to use the machine and explore more of the different types/sizes of coffee that it can make I love it even more, so I've changed my rating to 5 stars!. There is a slight downside to having a Vertuo machine, that being the coffee pods are only sold by Nespresso and their Vertuo pod patent doesn't expire until 2030, so there won't be any 3rd party alternatives offered any time soon, not that I mind that at all. Less convenient is the fact that the Vertuo pods don't seem to sold in supermarkets, so you will have to plan ahead when you stocks get low and get them via some online means. Or visit a Nespresso boutique, if you have one near to you.I loved this machine. The look of it, the feel of it - it's nice and solid and seems like good quality. It's very easy to use and the 5 times I was able to use it it made some excellent coffee, in all the various types & sizes. However, on the 6th cup the machine just would not stop dispensing water through the capsule, same on the 7th cup and the 8th cup. If I hadn't switched the machine off it would have dispensed the whole water tank through one pod. Did a factory reset but to no avail, another three coffee pods wasted before I called it quits. Luckily 12 coffee pods were free in the box otherwise, at around 70p per coffee pod it would have been a costly fault. I've asked for a replacement from Amazon, so I'll give the machine another go and update this feedback in a few days.

Der Milchschäumer und die Kapseln haben gefehlt. Die Rücksendung hat mich noch dazu 30€ gekostet. Nicht empfehlenswert.

Despite being from the UK, it works perfectly with my AUS pods. This model is unbeatable for one button coffee making.
