Need something stuffed under your wig
As long as you don’t have bangs it doesn’t really require a skull cap. I am having trouble getting mine to lay like Elvira’s picture. The bangs lay fine but the rest has more wave than in the picture. Hopefully I can figure that out before Halloween. The bouffant is an open cavity so I either need to pile my hair on top of my head and/or shove something under the wig (on top of my head) to keep the bouffant from collapsing. The back hair is very long (to your butt). Longer than I expected from the picture. Unlike many wigs, this one is comfortable to wear. Not itchy. If I can get it to look more like Elvira then five stars.

Overall great wig but you need to work it.
The wig is very spot on for Elvira, however, you will have to work with the wig in order to get the desired result (because it's been in a compressed wig bag previously which may curl or wave the wig hair). What you need: (1) wide tooth brush with hard plastic or metal bristles (ideal); (2) soft bristle brush (for shaping); (3) blow dryer; (4) spray bottle filled with 8% conditioner and 92% water mixture; (5) some type of padding (to stuff in bouffant of wig) (6) persistence and patience.I first put the wig on to get a feel of the shape and to see what I was working with. The "bouffant" part of the wig is hollow inside so you will want to fill that with some padding or something (I actually use a shorter wig I had and stuffed it in there), so that when you start shaping the hair on the bouffant part, it doesn't cave in and make it difficult for shaping. Then you want to place the wig on something stable to start working on it. Luckily, I own a mannequin because I do alot of costume creations in general but if you don't have a mannequin or wig stand, then use.... your head!I started on the longer hair portions first. I split the hair into two sections (right and left) and basically sprayed the section with the conditioner/ water mixture. Then you want to brush the hair from bottom to top to get the knots/tangles out. It's a process but stick with it until you can run the brush through without much resistance. Spray the hair again. Then take a soft brushwith the blow dryer on a low setting and brush from the top of the section to the tip of the hair. This needs to be done slowly to smooth out the waves. Don't be afraid to use the spray again until those waves in the hair are smooth out. Then do the other section until the long hair is smoothed. The tie it off with a hair tie and cut the frizz off the ends. The bouffant is a little trickier but easier and will require you to take the wig off (if on your head) and use something to place the wig stably on. Using the spray mixture and the soft brush you will spray the bouffant and gently brush and shape the hair. Be patient and it will take some time to get it to stay at the desired look. Bobby pins will help to keep the hair in place if needed, but I didn't need to use them. You DO NOT want to put any gel or hairspray holding solutions on the wig until possibly the night you plan to wear it. Personally I plan to put a little holding spray on the hair and trim the tips of the long hair ends to get rid of the frizz before wearing out.I hope my tips helped.
