Tip is so fine that I can draw on hairs that look very natural. Love the color too!

I’ve tried a lot of brow pens and pencils. This feather pen is hands down the best. You can paint in tiny brushstrokes that look like hairs. Whereas other pens I’ve tried rub off at a touch, after you apply the clear gel on the brush end of the pen, your eyebrows are set, set, set. Also, I’ve drawn in brows I didn’t like and you can rub them off and leave a shadow, which helps fill in blanks without actual hairs drawn in. I’ve used the brunette color even though my color of choice is universal taupe, which they don’t have. The brunette doesn’t have the red tones of other brunettes, so it passes.I’m giving it only 4 stars because the color is fragile unless you use the sealer brush. I didn’t like that the gel is a little stiff once it dries.

This is like a bad water color and a hair weak hair gel. It does not live up to the hype and is not worth the money. Plus, the color brunette is a yellow brown.beware...

I do my brows everyday so I'm always on the hunt for the best brow product. I prefer pens like this and have probably tried almost all of them at this point. This pen has potential but I don't love it. I like the fine tip pen, I think it can create the most natural look if you have the right color and with the right amount of practice. It applies smoothly and evenly, it isn't too dark with the first strokes like some and it doesn't dry out mid use. What I don't like is the color, I ordered dark brunette and it looks more like a gray/brown to me. It also isn't very pigmented as you can see in the second two photos (first picture is before using it.) It did last all day and didn't wear off which is great. If the color wasn't so gray and dull it might be one of my favorite pens.

I have tried all kinds of products to fill in thin eyebrows. This is by far the best. Continuous flow of material and single tip allows precise application that looks very natural. Not inexpensive but well worth the price for the outcome.

Only over the last year have I started wearing makeup again. I never paid much attention to my eyebrows previously, only noting them when my brows somehow got messed up. I am not a very hairy person, so my brows are sparse, but even still, anyone can see when they're all mussed up. That is why I requested this: KEVYN AUCOIN True Feather Brow Marker Gel Duo, Dark Brunette.Even though my hair is mostly grey and silver, (with some purple highlights), I do still have some dark brown and my brows are dark brown as well. I requested this brow marker in dark brunette. It is PERFECT for me! I can carefully fill in the sparse areas and it blends in perfectly. I cannot tell where I filled it in at all. It's invisible! You do need a steady hand when applying, but if you make a mistake, you can wipe it off immediately, no problem.Once my brows were filled in, which only took about a minute for both, I used the other end of this marker which is a brow gel, with a mascara-type wand. All you do is go over the brows gently and the gel is applied and voila! No more messed up brows that look like skinny caterpillars with severe arthritis. This is my first time every using a brow gel, so I don't have anything to compare this one too. All I know is that I'm happy when I come home after work and my brows are in the same exact shape as they were when I left in the morning.My only beef with this product is that it's a bit out of my price range. Seeing as this marker should last a good long time, I may be able to justify the expense, because I love it that much! Highly recommended!

Ok, this is an alright brow product. Not as good as Glossier Brow Flick in my humble opinion. Yes, this is a true cool toned blond shade and yes, that’s certainly not the norm in brow products. However, it’s a very pale shade, paler than my naturally cool toned blond brows…plus it kinda looks green in some lighting situations. Yes, it wears fine but again, not as bulletproof as Glossier’s Brow Flick. I’ve used all 3 Glossier shades and I can use both brown and black. Brown is a bit warm, most certainly not cool toned by any stretch of the imagination. The black shade, if you are learning how to use Brow Flick, may not be the best option even if your brows are super dark. Unless you’ve learned that the lightest possible hand, like BARELY touching the skin, is the the correct technique because if you DRAW with this brow product, the black is REALLY REALLY black and if you haven’t mastered the technique then you’re likely to end up with a big black BLOB of ink. So it’s a better idea, imo, to start off with the brown shade, yes, even if brows are black or a very dark brown. There’s more of a learning curve with Glossier than with Kevin Aucoin’s product but I’m not thrilled with the tip of this one because in reality it’s not as fine as the photos lead me to think. And the gel? Well, not a fan of it tbh. So there you have it. I can’t even exchange this greenish tinged ash blond shade for the medium brown. Kinda not fair given the fact that it’s on Prime and fulfilled by Amazon. So what’s the deal with that????
