Good but Static Cling is an Issue
I put this up in my laundry room to hang brooms, mops, spray bottles and misc. items. It works wonderfully - very tidy. One suggestion - before you install the panels give them a dip in a tub of water with a bit of fabric softener. They are very statically charged and cleaning the grooves of lint hair etc... is a challenge once installed.

Proslat real installation instructions, must read
Looks good, my wife loves it, but she did not have to install it. The install instructions are shaky at best. First off measure the bottom J channel to make sure it is the correct size of 96"s then get a 6 or 8 foot straight board and level it with a 4 foot level and screw to the studs ,then place your bottom J channel upon it then screw it to the studs. your bottom J channel should now be level. now the side channels, measure the J and make sure it is at least 96"s, now cut 2 pieces to 48.5"s, now you are ready to install them, to install find the center of the face of the stud and either use a chalk line or marker to make a plumb line attach another straight board to that stud with screws, do the same to the other side, place the Js against the board and screw the side J's with about 3 screws each, now you are plumb and level.Install the first slat make sure it is level, then with a metal drill bit slightly larger than the screw THREAD but not larger than the screw HEAD pre drill the slat holes going slightly into the wood, this is necessary because with a 1.5" self tapping screw is so long, you have to hold the screw with one hand and apply pressure to the drill with your other hand and if the screw should happen to take an upward trajectory it will lift the slat upward slightly making it uneven, with the pre drilled holes you can start the screw then put your level on top of the slat and move the slat to level, hold it there with one hand on the level and screw with your other hand. I have installed 2 8foot systems and 1 4 foot. What I have found with the 8 foot slats that they do not sometimes seat to level unless you push down on them with slight pressure, you will generally notice this after you put up a few slats and notice a slight reveal between the slats where they join, if you see a reveal you are not level, so do not think it will go up level because your bottom J channel is level, that's what I thought. Also if you do not pre drill the tip of the self tapping screw point will go thru the vinyl 1st and then first threads of the screw will lift the slat away from the wall especially when you screw thru the slat and the J channelI called Proslat and asked why do the J channels have to be cut if the size is known for the 4Xs 8X or the 4Xs 4 kit, they said if I was doing a full wall I would need that length, which I said if I was doing a whole wall I would have ordered that kit. Also asked why cant the slats be predrilled at 16"s for ease of installation,. They said not all homes are 16"s to which I said your market is new or remodeled housing that were brought up to the 16"s on center stud code.Asked why they use Philips head instead of hex head screws also for ease of installation. Which they said they have installed thousands of these walls without any problems. to which I said I will only be installing three and would prefer not to cut the J channel and not have to use self tapping screws on the slats, and that you have installed thousands of these walls and have had to cut the J channel every time, they just don't get the home owner market and ease of installation. One more note you will be better of using a high speed electric drill. All in all my wife loves it (she said she did not know the slats weren't predrilled when she ordered them) and they look good in the garage.I have given this product 3 stars because you have to cut the J channels to a known size, the holes in the slats aren't predrilled and for not using hex head screws which adding all these up makes this product extremely home owner unfriendly.
