Honeywell5-1-1 RTH2410B1019 Day Programmable Thermostat with Backlight

I really like the quality of this product and it’s features. It allows me to set the temperature for different days which is perfect especially when I am going out of town. It also lights up so I can see what the temp is and what I am doing if I need to make any changes. Easy to install.

Perhaps too many features for a rental application. Originally had Enercare install unit when installing new A/C, but found thermostat too confusing to program. Had Enercare return to install another Honeywell unit without all the bells and whistles.

Was curious why the heater unit didn't work. Googled and find out that you need to try to replace the thermostat first. And it's working! plug and play installation.

The installation was a breeze, did all the hard work to install the failed thermostat I was replacing. The previous one worked fine for several years, I'll be happy if this one does, too. Since we don't keep a regular schedule, we can't use the programming feature. Just leave it on "Hold", and manually turn it up in the morning and down before going to bed.Good basic thermostat, not expensive. I like the small size as well. Most of the more expensive thermostats are bigger, and also depend on technologies that are more likely to fail faster.

This only took my husband about 10 minutes to install. Works great, my old thermostat had my air conditioner running all the time. This one turn on and off like it should. My electric bill has gone down since I got this.
