It’s a little complicated to get the legs back down, and it’s a little taller than I expected, but it holds my laptop nicely and my mouse.

I bought this to use as a lap desk on the couch and for our granddaughter to draw on when she sits on the floor with her toys. Because there is no locking mechanism to secure the tabletop and keep it flat when opened, it can have a tendency to fold on you unless you carefully balance it on a flat surface. Our coach has rounded, plush cushions, which made that a problem. It was also too high for use in a bed. Because it folds so easily, it's caused several pinched fingers in our household which makes it unsafe for children. Other than that, it looks nice and folds easily for storage.UPDATE: The seller contacted me to apologize for the problem and offered to accept a return or refund us 30% of the purchase price. Once we accepted, however, they asked me to remove the review entirely. I've updated the rating to 3 stars for their customer service, but my review stands so that others can make an informed decision

This is my THIRD table that I purchase from this company and they have yet to disappoint me!!! These tables are amazing! This tables is simple but works great! The tables has a nice little handle which really helps for transportation! The table once folded is really small and sleek! It very easily fits under a couch, bed, or chair.This table is more than just a breakfast table! My wife and I have used this for food, snacks, as a lap top tray, and it even makes a great study table for school! The height is perfect and I have zero issues with the clearance over my legs. The table is extremely sturdy and is rated to have a 66 LB map weight!I use this table a lot to hold my 15 inch macbook pro and it still has plenty of room for a mouse, mouse pad, and cup of coffee!!For the price I have not seen a better table! This company is great and I highly recommend them!!

I wanted a table that I could use both on my bed and on the floor for homework etc. this table is the perfect height! It's sturdy enough so that I can lean on it heavily while writing on the ground and it sits great on my bed!

If you are looking for a lap desk or a bed tray, do not spend anything on this model. If you want a bed tray to actually be used, look elsewhere because this model is extremely cheap and devoid of functionality. As seen in the pictures, the middle hinge contains a screw and bolt. There are some problems with this:1) the bolt was too tight, to the point where even attempting to open the tray caused strain upon the entire fold, making the metal sides bend inwards just by applying the smallest effort.2) the screw used to secure the middle hinge was too long, resulting in making the two halves unevenly aligned by forcing itself into the metal slats along the bottom of the fold.3) the actual hinge joints that the screw goes through were at an outwards angle, causing the metal flanks to distort even further than the tight hinge could result in. The device cannot even be locked in place due to the distortion of the two halves.I wasn't even able to open up this tray fully due to the massive risk of snapping the end hinge completely and distorting the sides. I am extremely disappointed with how poor of craftsmanship and design this product displays. For nearly $30, I could have sworn I would be able to get a functional product. This model feels, and IS extremely cheaply made, with cheap metals, and it is extremely obvious that the manufacturing process lacked adequate quality control measures. To put it simply, this item is unjustifiably overpriced.You wanna know what works even better than this? A upside down cardboard box. Don't make my mistake by wasting your money on this disappointment.
