They work as described. I order my first set a few years ago. The first set the nylon torn, but was still functional though lately the tear stated to irritate so I ordered another pair which arrived yesterday.This order like, the first order, shipped without damage but it was 2 lefts (as opposed to a right and left).I remain perplexed on how to order a right and left as there appears no indication on which side you are ordering.Perhaps they are intended only for people with 2 left feet ;-)I wore the new set today for softball, the were comfortable and functional, though I where them to protect not my shins, but by knees.Still it would be better if I could find a way to order at least one right, to go with my now 4 lefts!

I wear these under my baseball pants....as a slowpitch softball pitcher I've taken my share off the shin....these are flexible and comfortable to wear and give my shins a little protection from the hard shots back to the mound. As a bonus they offer a little calf compression to ward off muscle strains. Highly recommend.

I had never purchased shin guards before, but after getting hit by a softball, I realized I needed them for protection. They had to be lightweight and fit comfortably under my baseball pants, yet strong enough to make me feel safe in case I got hit again. These shin guards were perfect because they met all of these criteria.

Easy to put on and comfortable to wear, but impossible to take off. I have size 13 feet and I had to cut the material to get the guards over my heel to remove them. I never expected that to be.

The size is just right, very durable and soft

It’s pretty decent guards and provides wonderful protection. The durability is pretty good as well since I occasionally wash it in the washer and dryer. The only minor negative point I could think of is that it’s not super breathable. But overall, very happy with it.

Bought these for mountain biking. They are super comfortable and protect your shins well from branches and falls. Great design and lightweight. You forget you're wearing them after a few minutes of riding.

These chin protectors are just perfect, lightweight and comfortable, they are for when I ride my motorcycle in case of an accident so I hope I’ll never need to see how good the protection would be but I feel sure they will be fine.
