Provides good warmth
We hung this over our patio sofa. Our patio roof is at a slope and the heater is hung at the lowest point just about 3 ft. over our heads. We live in the Los Angeles area where winter is not that cold but definitely too cold for just a jacket and blanket at night. There are 2 settings - low and high. I’m able to sit right underneath wearing a light sweater. It’s very warm and cozy. Not sure how well it will work for people who live in really cold areas like the Midwest or East Coast, but it’s perfect for us CA folks. The only thing I don’t like is that it gives off a bright orange glow, which is even brighter if you put it on the high setting. However, our patio lighting drowns it out a bit. I’m very happy with this heat lamp.
