Annual re-watch of a fave movie

Added charm in the extended version
I am a Huge Tolkien fan, and I have been since childhood, some 30 odd years ago. I have also loved this seminal work by Peter Jackson. It's almost traditional in my friend group to watch the three movies over a weekend, this was my first time watching it alone, and the added scenes just added even more embroidery to this already beautiful masterpiece!
