I bought this chalkboard to write prices for our snack stand at a charity event. The frame is lovely and matched our cabaret theme.It survived being piled I into a car haphazardly with a million other things.I used chalkboard pen rather than actual chalk, which came off fine when I wiped it after a day. If you use chalkboard pen, it's usually best to rub chalk all over the board before use to make it easier to clean later. We didn't have any, but it still cleaned up well.Well worth the purchase.

I read the questions at the bottom and it clearly states that these would be good for children outside… however ours are just awful quality. They started to bend and break after about two weeks.
