Dakota (Knights of Havoc MC) Paperback – 31 Oct. 2019

I loved this book although with how it started thought I was going to hate it that soon changed from chapter 2 onwards. It’s been on my wish list for awhile but iam so glad I brought it. Minx has been through so much and she deserved her happy ending. The guys in the mc are so sweet you can see how much they care for her even though mistakes were made. I don’t want to give anything away but make sure you have tissues ready there was a part were I cryed my eyes out. Dakota wow love him he was always there for her and you could see he loved her from the beginning. ❤️😢❤️

New author for me, I have to agree with some of the other reviews, the storylines were great but I too got confused more than once who was actually speaking,I also like to have more information about the characters, this was kept at a minimum.

What a story ,this book has everything you just have to keep hanging on by the skin of your teeth. This has got to be the best book I have read in a long time ,it has it all you need in a mc story and much much more I laughed in parts as well as cried that is how well written this book was . Can not wait for next book as this series is going to be fantastic I just know it . Don't make us wait to long ,just keep thinking who's story is going to be next well done Ami Van never read any of your books before but that is about to change if Knights of Havoc is anything to go by. WhAt are you all waiting for order now and ENJOY X

Well what can be said about this book, the story of Dakota and Minx was a great story, her with her really low sense of worth after being so badly treated when her brother left, then having to do things so she could see Trica and Bianca, then having to believe that she was worthy of his love, cant wait for the next book in this series.

This is Ami Van's 2nd book and the first in a new series. I've been reluctant to write a review as I didn't want to discourage a new author but reviews, whether good or bad are necessary. It actualy took me longer than normal to read this book as i had to keep backtracking to understand who was speaking as parts of it were written in a 3rd pov which doesn't flow well at all. This story centres around Minx and Dakota, who is the Enforcer for the Knights of Havoc but we don't actually see him enforce anything or any of his brothers from the MC carry out their roles either. Tucker is the President of the MC and estranged brother of Minx. Tucker abandoned Minx 10 years ago choosing the Nomad life whilst also walking away from his pregnant old lady. I didn't warm to him at all, there was nothing likeable about him. This book needs editing and the story felt at times under developed and at times ridiculous such as when Minx is held captive and given a large cocktail of drugs and almost raped. She's then saved and taken to hospital and after she is released she goes out to dinner! There is also a woman that was held by Maddox but we never hear of her again. At times, this book felt like the author was trying to cram as much drama and sex in as possible and I felt that the characters and relationships were lacking.I really hope that Ami's next book is not written from the 3rd POV as its very confusing for the reader and that it will be properly edited. I'm glad this book was on KU as it would be extremely disappointing to have purchased it in its current state. I hope that Ami Van continues to write but takes her time to perfect it rather than releasing a raw, unedited version again.

What a great book. Dakota and Mercy are a fantastic couple. Mercy had had a hard life after being abounded by her brother, he rolls back into town 10 years later with his club. Dakota falls hard. Some great back up characters. Just a word of warning the book doesn't always flow well and it can be hard to follow but still an enjoyable read. Hope there will be more.

This was a read it in one book. Could not put it down. There some really dark scenes in here, but some really good loving scenes. Fortunately the light side wins.

Great read. Can’t say enough good characters, story line and excitement. Well worth reading again. Hopefully the series will continue. Rare to find all of the elements in one book.

Overall, I really enjoyed the storyline but I hard a hard time with the 3rd person perspective. It was difficult to follow, I've never read a book written that way and I can't bring myself to read the next book in the series because of it.

I read the description and expected a good book. But few pages in, I lost all interest to read it. It's boring, too long, meaningless. Not worth the time.

I almost didn't finish the first chapter - Tucker and his 'brothers' just were not appealing. But then Minx (Mercy) appeared and caught my interest, how amazing was she. Loved Maddox & Austin and I just want to ask Ami WHY? Couldn't someone else take that bullet, I was devastated - I just loved him.Please don't make us wait too long for the next book Ami

I loved this book. I feel like the characters were well created but there were some editing issues. The POV was also a little difficult to follow at times but nothing to bad. The only thing that I would change is the death of one of Minx’s “brother” since it literally gutted me. I will definitely be keep reading this series, so now I just have to wait until the next one!
