It was amazing and kept me warm. I used it for a funny Halloween costume and birthday party to play a female dwarf to get a great laugh from my children. I succeeded in that. It was funny.

Purchased for my son to wear for Character Day at school. Seemed to run just a bit small, but not to any extreme. It's held up and still looks great.

Keep in mind, I bought this for a white elephant / dirty Santa party so, I don't mind the "bad" as much.Pros (to me): The material is what it is, nothing great and nothing bad (it's yarn). - the beard/mustache attach to the hat via loop and button (you don't always have to have the beard on) - with the beard off, the viking hat is cool on it's own.Cons: I have an average to smaller size head and it fits me just fine. I call this a "con" for the sake of the review for other people. - the mustache is really pointless, in the way, annoying, and is better just pulled under the chin (first pic)Hope this helps

It's the fiercest beard that I've ever owned. There were struggles and lengthy yarn battles as I tried to figure out how the heck to get the thing wrapped around my face. Once tamed, it looked great! Dropping stars because holy drunken Odin, it was very musty, the worst, seriously. For those with allergies, you're probably going to experience death by beard.

I bought this for my husband as a gift. He loves it!! He said the beard is warm to help keep the face warm. The fact that the beard part is adjustable is also helpful.

This gift got some laughs. The beard may be difficult to attach or maintain. Space for mouth maybe too small for some. A unique item.

Got it for my brother as a silly gift. He loved it.The beard needs a little straightening out but that's easily done. Construction is solid and reasonable for the price. I would recommend this as a fun, light duty beanie.

Bought this for my brother for Christmas. Tried it on just for fun.It’s a pretty awesome novelty gift. There’s two strands with button holes and two buttons on the inside of the hat to connect them (so you can wear with or without the beard).It docked it a star cuz beard isn’t quite a pristine as the photo. It does need a little reworking when you get it, but it is a lot of fun, and for this kind of gift made pretty decent.

Makes an awesome gift. I needed a fun stocking stuffer for my husband.. I came across this and thought it was perfect.. he’s always bragging about his Viking ancestors. So how perfect now he can pretend to be a Viking and stay warm in the winter. We laughed for hours it’s really awesome. Well made, I don’t know about the complaints about it looking cheap, the beard is pretty full and nice. It’s so much fun. I recommend this.

This is a pretty cool idea that could be better. You can clearly see my beard has a purple hue to it., and it doesn’t come with instructions on how to attach(There is 2 buttons inside the hat that you attach 2 small braided strings to tht you loop through a small loop on the beard)I have a big head and it fits fine but I do not lik that it has a purple hue. Definitely not as advertised for colour. No one has a burple hue grey beard

I read previous comments before buying this and since I have a small head, I took a chance. It fits me perfectly, which means : beware big heads, this will be too small for you!This said, I love it! The horns on the one I received are pointy and straight, and the effect is cool. See for yourselves...
