Q: My 6 month english setter has a thin neck . his chest measurement is correct for larger size but 3 cm too thin at neck any suggestions?

I bought this in the medium for my bearded collie I would say he’s medium size just now.I would suggest you purchase the small as there is adjustable straps you can use to make it bigger round the body.and if it’s still too small you could return it for the medium size.Hope this helps

Q: Is this suitable for minature dachshund.?

I cannot think of any reason it would not suit a miniature dachshund. The top of the harness does not go too far down the dogs back, so it should not cause a dachshund any spinal problems.

Q: Will this be ok to keep on for the very occasional swim? We dont go often but when we do go i just normally unclip his lead and let him jump in.

I'm not too sure. I thought it was too heavy for my little dog though

Q: When the dog pulls on the lead does the harness straps loosen?

Not in my case. They remain quite secure whether the lead is on the front clip or the one on the back. If the lead is on the back clip our dog pulls as much as ever but if it's on the front he does pull a bit at times but nothing like before.
