I have cringed for years watching my husband open a coconut every morning to drink (instead of coffee) using the largest knife we have. I couldn't ever do it myself at all for fear of injury. It is strong and so easy to use. The end is sharp, so be sure to put the cap over it for storage. This product is already saving me a ton of stress and easing mine and my husbands life. The quality of the product appears very high and I don't anticipate having any problems with it breaking in the future. I highly recommend this product if you have a coconut lover in your house.

I loved it the first time I used it. By the third time a piece broke on it. After a few more uses, it broke some more. I wish I would've chosen another tool.

I could only use it once. It just broke. The metal is too thin to withstand the resistance of a coconut shell.

This tool is great!! you still need a bit of force but im now able to open my coconuts... love it!

I'm throwing a tiki party and wanted to serve fresh coconut water out of coconuts but had no idea how to open the coconuts. This actually works. At first I was struggling, but really, you just need to push and twist. All done!

It works but takes effort. May work better if the tip was sharper and had more teeth.
