Holy Land Market Four olive wood Communion/Egg Cups - great style - Asfour outlet brand - Set of 4

Mailing envelope was widely opened on one end. Only 3 cups in pack. Plastic bag torn in two places, tears align with envelope tear, clearly big enough, &looked stretched, enough for one of the cups to go through. I have 3 very blonde wooden cups. Nothing visual to let one even assume that they're made of olive wood at all, they could be pine, who knows? Suggest seller ship in boxes not easily torn, as there are some bad people in the world, some may even work in shipping/delivery, that will take that which is not theirs when given such an easy opportunity. I intended to use these in portable kits to take the Lord's Supper to the sick and to shutins. Now, the beautiful and special gift intended to be used by people that can't receive the Lord's Supper in any other way, is no longer an option. I think they should replace them with actual olive wood free of charge. I have several items throughout my household made of beautiful olive wood, most of which were far less expensive than these cups, all of these items came with information regarding the exact location of where the items were made, or I had actually had the opportunity to choose the pieces of wood from pruned olive trees in Jerusalem that some of these specific items were made from while I watched and/or helped as they were being made. These items have a certain look and feel to the wood that is sorely lacking in these cups. Not the best purchase I've ever made, considering only an odd number of blonde wooden cups is all I have to show for it. There was nothing included to even prove the ID of the seller or where they came from. Though the cups were kind of cute, what can I do with only 3 blonde cups??? Obviously, not my best week for buying cups online. The supposed fact that these cups were made by Christians to supplement their income was a deciding factor for me in this purchase. I have since been informed by several people that some companies will make this claim to dupe unsuspecting people of faith to get them to purchase an item of extremely low quality or of faux materials or components by pulling on your heart strings. Use your own discretion when purchasing.

Attractive olive wood, supposedly from pruned branches so the tree is still alive. The holders are very small, it is hard to fit eggs larger than medium in them.

Look beautiful. A bit small for my eggs though.
