Oculus Link Cable 5M/16FT USB 3.0 for Oculus Quest 2 / Quest Virtual Reality Headset, High Speed Data Transfer Cable Braided 90 Degree with USB-C to USB-A Adapter for PC's Type C Port (5M+Adapter)

Couldn’t get it to work independently with my PC and Quest 2. I tried every solution I could find on the internet but it would not recognise the device either with the oculus app or Steam VR. I eventually discovered that while Airlink was basically unplayable when wireless, when I plugged this cable in it massively increased the performance to a playable state. It’s not perfect, and I had to buy virtual desktop to access my Steam games, but it was smooth enough that it didn’t really bother me. Which is why I have given it 2 stars. But, it still doesn’t do what it said it would do, and I’m having to buy the official cable on top of this purchase to link my devices properly and play without Airlink at the best performance. If you have the money for it, I’d say just go for the official cable and save yourself the headache. It’s been such a pain getting everything to work without the official cable. Saying that, if you don’t have the money, getting this cable is a cheap alternative that may allow you to play games in airlink at a much better performance. You may also get lucky as apparently it’s worked for other reviewers. However if you want to play games from Steam you’ll also need to spend £14.99 on virtual desktop as Steam VR will not recognise the device and doesn’t seem to work with Airlink unfortunately.

On the surface this appears to be a quality product but the USB-C (the end that goes into your Oculus) is a terrible fit. It has to be pushed very firmly and feels like it’s being forced. I shall be buying a better one because I fear too much use of this one may eventually damage the slot on my headset. Not recommended.

Oculas software does not support the cable as it keeps telling me it's connected via usb 2 even tho it was plugged into a usb 3 port. Ordered this for the quest 2 as it states it will work but it doesn't support the full speed. The cable is also way to thick and heavy to be used on the quest 2.

Really not sure what to expect when I ordered this considering the offical Oculus Link Cable is over 3 times the cost of this cable.I was hugely impressed with the quality and sturdiness of the Cable. No problems setting up and using the cable, it worked straight off.I highly recommend buying this cable rather than spending the stupid amount of money that Oculus are charing for their link cable.

This is a great link cable and works perfectly with the quest 2 at a fraction of the price of the official cable. The wire feels high quality as do the connectors. If you previously used airlink make sure to turn it off on the Oculus otherwise it won't detect the link cable.

Good priced alternative to the "official" cable which costs a lot more. Charges well and my son can stream games off of the PC using this, which is all that is required, really.Smooth braiding makes it feel like a quality cable and helps it to remain un-tangled.All in all, a decent cable.

Used for oculus 2 only charged upto 79% then wouldn't charge anymore, can't use while playing on oculus as it doesn't charge it

There were a few games that my son wanted that are not available on the quest 2 which he can now play.
