Natural Himalayan Pink Salt Lamp with Bulb & Cord

I ordered this lamp to help with relaxation and peace in today's tumultuous climate. So far I've had it on every day, but I think maybe everyone else needs one, too, in order for us to be happy! I think they come in random sizes since this is actually a big old salt chunk, but mine is about 7 inches high. It's pretty hefty and would definitely break a window if it was thrown. It emits a nice, soothing glow that is adjustable with a twist of the controller. It does say it can "sweat" and leave a wet spot, but so far, I haven't noticed that. Don't use this as a reading lamp as it is a nice, amber light to (hopefully) clean the air and leave you feeling at peace. Give it a try. What do you have to lose? Send one to a grouchy friend.

This is amazing. I was very skeptical at first about this lamp. It seemed impossible that a block of salt can have so many positive effects on so many different aspects of a persons mental and physical wellbeing. I am here to say I am a believer. I suffer from seasonal depression and I'm a night shift worker. This lamp works miricals. I've felt more energized and more well rested. My mood is much more happy and my body feels much better. Also this is a beautiful lamp. The pictures don't do it justice and it fits perfectly on my bedside table. I live the dimmer feature so I can decide how much light it emits.

I impulse bought this and I love it! The lamp is so pretty and gives off such a nice glow. The packaging was great! Easy to use and looks sooo nice. It's an actual salt rock as well. Overall it's an amazing product!! Also it's really heavy. Probably one of my favorite purchases in a long time.

The concept of a salt lamp is very attractive. An orange glow of natural salt, which is very unobtrusive and pleasant. However, the product, when arrived, did have a few issues. For example, the bulb keeper has no attachment point for holding the bulb and wire in place, either leaving the bulb floating in the lamp loosely, or jammed a little too far in to where the release tabs aren’t very accessible. Also, and I’m not sure if this is how all units are, my base had some crystallized salt coating it, as well as being uneven and not uniformly carved to accommodate the wire and bulb housing. Along with that, one of the tabs of the bulb clips was rusted, past the black paint that seemed to be intact on the other tab. I understand the corroding power of salt, but the fact that this was not separately packaged is a bit worrisome, especially the problems that salt and corrosion can cause to electrical circuits. I would recommend, in future productions, that the attachment screws be countersunk into the base, to allow for the base to sit evenly on a surface, as well as the electrical components be packaged separately from the salt lamp to abound any possible corrosion.

Very large and beautiful! This lamp is adjustable in brightness, and on the highest setting it gives off a lovely glow. It looks as though it could be worth over twice as much as the actual cost. Very heavy but good quality. I am skeptical when it comes to the health benefits and negative ion theories, there is no hard scientific evidence that proves those claims, however I bought this for the look and I am very happy with it!

The lamp looks great. Dimmer on the cord works perfectly. The bulb was broke on arrival but I was expecting that anyhow as its literally in with a good size crystal bouncing around in the mail and had ordered some prior on here to go along with the purchase of the lamp. The lamp was beautiful, but it came broken in half. The box it was in was not damaged, but I sure would have thought it would have been packaged a little better. It was just in a box with some crumpled paper in the bottom and the top. I'd say these lamps would be pretty fragile. Again, lamp is beautiful, just needs better packaging.

Much more than I expected! It was delivered super fast, everything worked fine from the start, and it's bigger and better looking than I could have hoped for. Not going to say for sure that it is a magic lamp but I will say that since using it in the bedroom, my husbands allergies seem much better. He doesn't wake up stuffy and he doesn't snore at all anymore. I will be buying more!

I wanted to buy the salt lamp as a test run since I kept hearing good things about it. I opened the package in front of my sister and explained to her what it was and what it's supposed to help with (depressive moods and etc) and she immediately nabbed it from me. I'm still not sure if it really works as per the placebo effect but I do love the glow of it. Looks like a dragon egg. When my sister or I'm near it for a while, we both feel motivated to do work and feel a little less sad due to the extreme coldness (winter) we have... Still not sure if it really works but I'm not complaining. I made the connection that some of my friends would like one (I'd still want one for myself) so I decided to scour local shops and buy more. I think I've become a salt lamp dealer, I've gotten at least another four at other shops. You get a salt lamp! You get a salt lamp! Everyone gets a salt lamp!!

Bought it for my mom for x-mas, as ide from the shippers suplexing it into the ground while running away from my dog it was super cool! It was thankfully fine and works really well, and the dial lets you adjust it to make the perfect atmosphere.

This salt lamp is gorgeous. The size is perfect for our living room and the dimmer switch is a great feature.
