Loved it!

Not your typical whodunnit but it tells you a lot of marsh cultures and animals. Also a deep look at the central character's involuntarily solitary life and related ups and down. Bet it is going to be adapted for the screen any day soon.

I decided to check out Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens after hearing so many raving reviews about it. The synopsis piqued my curiosity big-time that, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book. I know I am late to the fan-fest for Where The Crawdads Sing, but better late than never right? I thought the book is historical fiction with some mystery, so I was pleasantly surprised to find elements of romance in it. This book totally blew my mind. I adored this story of Kya's perseverance, survival and independence so much. It is hands down one of my favorite coming-of-age stories so far.

Great book and a wonderful cover

I really enjoyed reading this book. I can't stop turning page after page since I started reading this masterpiece. The story of a little marsh girl turning into a marsh legend is sheer brilliance. The author masterfully intertwines the beauty of the natural world with a compelling narrative of survival and self-discovery. The rich descriptions of the marshland create an immersive experience, making it almost a character in its own right.
