I'm drinking 2x more water every day because of this.
My family loves bubble water. We spent an ungodly amount of money buying Topo Chico every week. I finally had it when they doubled their prices overnight. But we couldn't go back. My kids don't get soda, but I make them juice with bubble water almost everyday. My wife basically won't drink water unless it's carbonated.So... I broke down and got the AARKE carbonator. But the CO2 tanks were still crazy expensive over the long run.So... I broke down and ordered a 20lb CO2 tank with siphon (About $120 & $25 shipping) and this adapter (~$50).I got the 20lb tank swapped/filled with food grade CO2 at Airgas for $33. I can now re-fill my CO2 canisters for basically $1.50.NOW - because we feel so free to use the carbonator - we have been drinking about 3 liters of water a day. About a bit over 1 liter each for me and my wife and the rest for the kids. This is easily twice, if not more, the water drinking rate as when we had Topo Chico. This adapter is really well designed and well built. Just remember to OPEN THE VALVES SLOWLY. The CO2 cartridges fill really fast.

Could not refill consistantly
I initially bought this because I thought the hose and the extra gauge would be beneficial. First, the gauge only tells you what the large cylinder pressure is, I wanted one that gave you the low side pressure so you can see how much pressure is in the sodastream bottle side. While that wasn't what I was hoping for, my biggest issue is that I couldn't fill the newer sodastream cylinders consistantly. From what I have read you need to VERY slowly start to fill the soda stream bottle or the newer "safety feature" activates and prevents the gas from entering the empty cylinder. Because this rig only uses regular ball valves, there isn't enough control to just crack the valves enough to start the gas to flow without activating the "safety". Of the 6 times I tried it, I was only partially successful 2 times and those tanks were only partially filled (about 4 oz. of CO2, which is 1/4 to 1/3 full). I am returning this rig for something else with a different valve that can control the flow more consistantly.

Works well for refilling sodastream tanks.
works well.. the gauge is helpful, the flexiblepipe to the sodastream adapter is helpful-Using a NON-siphon 20-lb CO₂ tank (siphon tube broke off inside??) upside-down.Siphon-style tanks are only needed if you want to keep the supply tank upright.Non-Siphon Supply tanks will work on their sides or upside-down to deliver liquid CO₂...So, siphon tank isn’t really needed.Cannot get all 14oz LIQUID CO₂ into sodastream tanks.. normally it’s 10-11 oz.. Freezing the empty sodastream tank may allow another Oz, but it’s annoying & kinda, pointless, since you can just refill again alittle sooner. Also my local CO₂ supplier charges $33 for20 pounds and i just swap empty tank for full. They make me WAIT for my 10 lb tank, cause they only do special sizes when they have time.I was told, “don’t fall in love with your specialtank size unless it’s really a necessity.”So, i wasted my money on that special 10lbsiphon tank. Silly me, waiting weeks for them to fill it.Maybe you’ll have more personalized refill service where you live..

Garbage
The valve to allow CO2 into the sodastream cylinder is a defective design. It does not allow the cylinder needle valve to be closed. So after filling you cannot seal the cylinder before unscrewing it. This allows most of the new charge to escape. Tried it on two different soda cylinders. Even added an extra sealing washer to space the valve and the cylinder further apart. Garbage.
