The lightweight VERSABLAST running shoe is built to provide excellent underfoot comfort, whether you're on a run or at the gym. The upper's half-bootie design promotes a great fit and all-day comfort while the soft underfoot feel comes from a springy midsole foam that creates a smooth ride. The outsole design of this shoe minimizes weight while remaining durable, thanks to the rubber placed in high-wear areas. If you're looking for a shoe with a great fit and streamlined aesthetic, the VERSABLAST model is an excellent choice.

Cute but comes with pain and back ankle scratching
Rubbed on back wore thicker sock because I really want to like them. They are light wait. I am blessed to be a teacher so walking all day. I bought these because exams are coming up and monitoring. ASICS have had a positive reputation with me. These were disappointing. I wondering if I have to “break them in” but should I have to?I’ve never had to before.

No arch support
My go to brand for a running/athletic shoe is ASICS. During the winter months I practically live in them. And although I don’t run anymore (two knee replacements) it’s the only athletic shoe I will wear because they give my feet the support I need. They generally have good support are made well and are very comfortable. I have a pair for working out, a pair for just kicking around, a pair I wear if I’m out in the yard and a pair I keep neat and clean if I really want to look dressed up in jeans. This is Arizona and we live in jeans here. However, I give this model only 4 stars for fit because they have no arch support to speak of. When I’m not in ASICS I wear orthotics in my other shoes. I need that comfortable and supportive arch support that all my other ASICS have. While they are made well, good construction and materials and the sole is comfortable the insole has no arch support. I feel my arches wanting the support provided in my other ASICS and in with my orthotics. What happened? Where is the arch support? Also, while the toe box is comfortable I personally feel the toe on this model is a tad too long. They kind of remind me of clown shoes. I have no choice but to wear them after paying for them but I have to either buy an arch support from Amazon or insert my own orthotics into them. That idea really bugs me. I bought these shoes because I have trusted ASICS to always provide the support and comfort I need. I tried this style thinking I was going to get the same comfort and support I get from my Gel 4s, Gel 6s and Gel 7s. But this is not the case.So if you have arch problems and need the added support I’d shy away from this model.

Not great running shoes for ASICS
Definitely not like the typical ASICS running shoe. Blister on the heel right away from walking in them. Don’t give that extra support accustomed to with ASICS running shoes. Disappointed in these ones

Love love love
These might be one of my favorite fit and style/ look for a pair of running sneakers. The only downside was the backside rubbed against my heel which was a little annoying so I wore them walking first to break them in for a few days and didn’t run in them right off the bat.

Cute but Painful
These got one star for being cute. They are killing the back of my ankles - creating blisters after only a couple miles. I had socks on too so this confused me. All I've worn for a decade are ASICS so I know it's not the brand. I 100% would have returned, but missed the date by 2 days due to travel. I'm so disappointed with these shoes.

No support, waste of money
I love ASICS and have been a loyal buyer for several years. I bought these thinking they would be equally good. NO, there is no support in heel, the back of shoe is one step above a flap, I constantly get blisters on my ankles and now have developed serious heel pain that is chronic all day from using these “shoes” on my treadmill. Do not waste your money. I’m disappointed I will be having to purchase new shoes to be able to run again.

Light weight poor fit
I have been running in Asics for years I have never had an issue with fit or blistering. I decided to move away from the gel and into these comfort souls and I do regret it. Although the shoe is fashionable and is comfortable to walk in, the heel height is significantly higher than most ASIC running shoes which has caused severe blistering on my heels. Even with Band-Aids I am not comfortable running in them and not interested in callusing for the sake of it. The fit also seems to run a bit large and that may be due to the lightweight material my foot doesn’t feel supported the way it does in other ASICS sneakers. I would recommend these for a walking but not for working out or running.
