How to Invest in the Stock Market: The Complete Guide for Beginners (Books on Investing in Stocks)

I got myself an etoro account in order to try and learn how to beat inflation and this very short but good guide has told me the basics I needed to know. Going to check out some of the other books that Tim does now as this was an easy one to understand.

This book does not teach you how to trade or what stocks to pick, rather it describes the territory that anyone wishing to trade will find themselves and and provides a very basic framework from which to start. I would recommend it for anyone who wishes to trade the markets. One criticism would be that it seems aimed at an American audience as the the trading platforms mentioned are all based in the States.

This book is great if you’re a beginner. I was able to read it quickly and more importantly understand the basics of trading.

Gave a well developed summary of the stock market and how it really works. Would definitely recommend if you're beginning to invest in the stocks!

Too basic. All information is way broad and simplistic. Will be a good starting book for a different price. In my opinion the content does not reflect the quality of the information for the asking price.

The book is short, no fluff. It is a great intro to someone who knows very little about stock market. It also sets realistic expectation. Highly recommended!

This book gives a simple yet thorough basic understanding of stock market investment. It is an excellent easy to understand grounding in investment. Tim goes on into some evaluations and tips about making investments.The best primer I have read. Well worth buying even if you already are a seasoned investor.

Another great book by Tim, his books are always very simple and straight forward. Any new beginner or newbie should read this guide to get a better understanding of how stock market works. The content is simple, precise and includes examples that clearly explain the stock market.

Good book for anyone who is interested in getting in to the stock market. Book is short, can easily be read in an hour but it is worth it.
