YEP, get it - improve your quality of life when it comes to carrying around literal dog poop :)
Well, we got a second dog. With our first dog, we've always used a flexi-leash and then just carried the bag of poop next to the handle. Well, with two dogs, it was just kind of a pain. Like a pain you could live with, but it was still annoying. And the second dog's poop is extra smelly and extra large (even though he's tiny). For the second dog, I got the Max & Neo Triple Handle Reflective Leash [https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01NBOWPPD/], which I highly, highly recommend. It has a D-ring near the longest handle, so I ordered this little poop bad holder thing. We still use the flexi-leash for our first dog, b/c he is more calm and it works for him, and we have a great accessory bag that fits the flexi-handle.Anyway, this little thing is great. I tie a little knot in the filled poop bags like I always do, then just drop them into the slots. It's sooo much easier. Sure, I could survive without it if I didn't knew it existed. But now I know it exists, and I need it. It's just so convenient.Small caveats, though I still give it 5 stars:- The carabiner will need replacing. I knew this going in based on other reviews, and I knew I wouldn't care. Carabiners are not that expensive or hard to find [hello, we're on amazon right now, right?]. And, really, I'll just replace it with a normal round key ring...it's not like I need to clip it on and off the leash, I just need to attach it once.- My husband complains that the slots get caught up on our other dog's flexi-leash if the dogs ever twist themselves up. I've noticed this too, and that's not the fault of this clip thing, it's just because we have 2 dogs and one uses a thin flexi-leash. If they both had normal leashes, it wouldn't be an issue. And I experience this issue maybe 1-2 times a week, which is not a big deal. I just keep the dogs from getting tangled up, and if they do I just untangle the clip from the leash when I untangle the leashes. But I'm telling you all just for transparency and honesty. Again, I still give this thing 5 stars, and the majority of users won't have this issue. After I found this product, I looked for similar products. I saw some that were metal, but weird shaped and more expensive. This plastic seems sturdy enough, and if it breaks in a few years or whatever, it's not a big deal - it's not holding my dog to anything, so my dog is not going to get loose, and I can survive without it for a few days until I get a second one. But it's not like you're really putting stress on the plastic, so it seems very durable to me. And plastic means lightweight and won't throw things off-balance.TLDR: Yes, get it. No, you don't need it, but yes, it will make your life easier and less poop-y.

you don't have to carry the bag
Works great. tie up the bag, slide it in to the groove and continue the walk.

Updated review
I love this. I clip it to my backpack on our walks. We walk 2 miles everyday. I have 3 medium to xlarge dogs. They usually poop 2 to 4 times. I have had up to 6 bags on it at one time. It didn't work too well on the leash bc it kept getting tangled in all 3 leashes. It does swing but i have yet to lose a bag. Very good investment considering a the other options wer le 2x the cost. The level of smell will depend on what type of bags are used as this product is not meant to cover scent. It us meant to hold the bags so u don't have to hold them in your hand or pocket.Update: continues to be the best product i have ever used. Clips to my backpack on our walks. We walk at least 2 miles daily and have never lost a bag even with 4 or 5 bags for 3 large dogs. Never had a problem with the clip either.

I bought this but eventually went with a metal one
This thing worked great, but only issues is that it does tend to get caught up in the leash (if you have more than one dog) so prepare for that. Other than that it worked great for me. But since I moved sometime ago and misplaced it, I ended up buying a metal one instead.

Good holder, weak clip
The holder itself is great! But the clip isn't so great. It breaks easily so I wind up losing the holder and having to order again. I highly suggest replacing the clip it comes with and using a stronger clip.

Love this!
I love this little thing! I've used the rubber holders in the past that have the cross slits - those work okay, but sometimes the dog waste bag will slip out and the rubber will eventually rip. This one is very sturdy and small (not bulky) but still has the capicity to hold multiple bags, up to four. I've never had a bag fall off during our walks. I love the size and ease of use. I highly recommend this product.

Great product does what it is supposed to
This is so simple, but so helpful! Easy to loop poop bag(s) into and out of the the clip, and I am so happy not to have to carry them the whole walk! And when it isn't in use, this doesn't add weight or flop around like the larger bag holders I have seen. Really well designed product. As others have noted, however, the carabiner included to attach to the leash isn't very durable (I have purchased two of these, and the first carabiner broke before I even used it!). I have replaced with the metal loop off an old key ring. Seems like a better solution anyway, as I don't know why anyone would need to remove the bag holder anyway. I'd suggest the manufacturer save customers a few dollars by selling it with just that sort of attachment rather than cheap carabiners. Even a large paperclip or something would work better than the carabiner.Otherwise, I give this an A+ for ingenuity and usefulness!

Plastic, not metal
I ordered from another company two weeks prior to purchasing this. The other ones were METAL and I got TWO for around $6. Unfortunately this one is freaking plastic...plus I paid around $7 for ONE, not two. Pretty pissed...but it's my fault, I should have read every detail. Not sure about durability yet, but will update later.
