Have to say this adapter is a little different and is DEFINITELY aimed at anyone who wants to change a single power socket to a double socket, whilst at the same time, having 4 x USB ports and of course, as simple night light!!I have a single wall socket in my kitchen that is close to the breakfast table but to date, has been useful for little else than plugging the hoover in when I want to hoover the kitchen area - So... I bought this!Clever little socket adapter that turns a single socket into a double, whilst at the same time providing me with 4 x USB ports for charging the multitude of phones and Ipads that my family leaves in the kitchen!The socket is well made and fits neatly on the wall.It has a convenient on/off switch located on the bottom of the unit if you wish to switch off the power and leave it plugged in.Personally, I would be leaving it on all the time as I love the additional little extra of a night light, which is conveniently controlled by a switch allowing on, off & auto settings!.Our lovable Labrador sleeps in his bed in the kitchen at night, so its been great to have it for walking into the kitchen in darkness and not having to switch on a bright light and annoy the sleeping dog!The shelf that comes with this unit is easily attachable but I have to say that it isn't something that I would use. You can position it on any side of the main socket unit depending on what way you want the plugs to be.It has a useful feature where you can 'lock' in the cables of the item that you are charging to prevent it from slipping onto the floor.All in all its a smart little adapter and the company isn't asking a huge price to buy it.It's well made and I have no doubt that it will serve me for a number of years before I even need to consider needing to replace it.Happy enough to give it a 5 star rating, it's practical, reasonably priced, aesthetically pleasing and multi functional - what's not to like?

I use this socket extension in my kitchen , where usually I have more devices than slots availableThe USB ports are a bliss , as all the time I'm misplacing the plugs and with this one I only have to plug the wire in .The little shelf on the top is also a good addition as it serves as a phone holder when charging or even when I'm playing music .I use the light as a night light which also it's pretty coolOverall, happy as I can be about this extension .

Well packaged and easy to useLove the way you have a shelf for putting your mobile or tablet on when chargingI put it in the office so it gives me more plug space and it looks a lot tidier than all cables everywhereVery pleased with this and it appears sturdy

The built quality is good, and the functionality is acceptable. I like the headstand that can tolerate the weight of a 10 inch iPad within a case, which is great. The power of USB output is good for phone charging and not adequate for tablets. It may take 5,6 hours for a full charge. I wish the USB outputs were working apart from the LED light.

Nice concept but useless to me as I do not have sunken switches in any of my plug sockets around the house. Just on a shelf gathering dust at the moment. Shame as it offers a lot but doesn’t sit flush against a raised switch and rocks around.

So helpful! Having the extra storage space on top of the plug is really handy for me. It means I can put my phone on the space on top instead of the floor!You can turn the plugs on and off to save electricity which is a nice little feature to have. Glad I bought this, handy piece of kit 👍🏼

I love it you may lose 2 sockets but then you get them back including Plug Extension with USB Ports, Multi-Plug Adapter the UK, Surge Protector with Smart Night Light, what more can you ask for at the price of 10 out of 10 I will be getting 2 more of these. Well worth the money cheers GUUKIN
