FrontierPlay Aluminum Kitchen Dry Box Storage

Great kitchen box! Stayed dry, survived 2 trips so far, every day into and out of the frame.Take the time to build divider! Only wish, the legs were cut to fit in the opening but not with the rubber seal in place. I had to cut them 1/4" shorter to fit them across the top once the rest of the box is filled.

I like this box except the latches are a little difficult to deal with. I also cut mt hand on the edges of the shelf. I'll get sone sand paper and try to smooth them down. Wish the legs were attached so I could move the box by myself.

Everything is good except:latches are difficult to oporate, too small and require too much leverage with cold wet hands.The back legs tilt forward, not backwards or straight making it really unstable. And the legs are made of untreated aluminum and prone to bending.

Looks good out of the box, shipping time exceeded expectations (FedEx). Going down the Middle Fork of the Salmon next week, will update when we get back. Update: worked great on the Middle Fork, though the water-tightness was not really tested. However it definitely seals tight: we live at about 400' msl, and when we got to Boundary Creek (about 5000'), the box made an audible exhaling "whoosh" when I loosened the first latch. I would definitely recommend this box to anyone looking for one.

I have not yet set the box up with its legs but the first thing I noticed is that it is designed to be set up with the lid facing forward. However, the handles are oriented with the lid to the top. If you load everything so it works one way, everything falls over when you orient the box the other way. 15 minutes with a drill and some extra hardware solved the problem for me but now I have 6 extra holes in the box.

We like the aluminum kitchen it sleek design for great. The only drawn back to this product is the legs. During set and breakdown of the kitchen the legs fall out and the legs do not have feet so we had some welded on.

Great product. Shipped immediately and arrived quickly. This will fit perfectly into my Aire Cataraft frame. I have it packed with enough kitchen gear for 15 people for a 5 nite float on the Salmon and still got my wife's little travel guitar in it.
