It was a waste of my time to read but
I appreciate the time the author took to put this together but, none of this is new or remarkable information. It was a waste of my time to read but, nobody made me read it so, that's on me. Calories out have to beat calories in, be wary of fad diets, and everything in moderation. I've lost 132 pounds and have earned a degree in nutrition. If you want some sound advice I suggest renting any modern nutrition textbook from your local library

Burn those calories
It is true that losing weight is a difficult journey and taking it the right way is key in doing so successfully. There are many ways to lose weight, but it s important for you to choose the right one so that you can reap the full health benefits without stressful side effects. I like how the writer uses everyday concepts to make a rather complex subject very simple. Also the level of honesty helps build trust with the writer; I now trust that the writer’s techniques will help me shed some calories. Thank you.

A well researched and written book
This book is a precise, concise explanation of why and how weight loss programs work or don't work. It is a short enough book that it will not bog down the reader in too much information; yet it has all the information anyone needs to make a success of weight loss and healthy living. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to lose weight, or be an informaned communicator about the subject.

Loved the Twinkie experiment!
Wow.. what a cool book. Great info, and like I said, I loved the Twinkie experiment! I've been struggling with losing an extra 20 lbs for years now. It's my eating habits, I know that. The author breaks down a few popular diets and really focuses in on Caloric intake. Now all I need to do is to heed his advice and I should be on my way to better health. Good read!

There's no quick fix. You need to lose weight slowly and steadily. That's why I learned from this book.
I bought this book for my husband; and he enjoyed reading it (even I gained knowledge from this book too!). This book explains why some diet plans do not work for weight loss and what you need to do in order to lose weight properly and in the long term. It also reminds readers of the importance of losing weight slowly but steadily, instead of seeking for a quick fix that helps you lose a tremendous amount of weight in short time. That latter just doesn't guarantee you lose weight in the long run.

Great Overview and Conclusions!
This book really breaks down all of the fad diets out there and then gives you the real dirt on the best ways to obtain true fat loss...Overall it's a quality book showing you no-fail ways on how to finally lose that weight...backed up by objective facts and lots of great advice. I certainly learned a lot from this one I'm excited to try!
