Q: Do the night navy look dark blue or black? It is hard to tell based on the pictures.

You can tell that they are blue but very dark

Q: Are these supposed to be comfortable? i wear a 10 2e wide. i heard these run wide, so i got a 10.5...not so comfy on first try. will they break in?

They are I wear an 11 and go with 11.5 on they fit great once you loosen the laces. My feet are not skinny. The pro breaks in a little less than their other models.

Q: How does this shoe compare with the great stiffness (for hard bike pedal impact dispersement) of five ten danny macaskill's ?

I have Freerider and and Freerider Pro. I completely agree with Tim. I do not ride clipless but even the reg Freerider is the stiffest bike shoe I have found. And they last. I actually am able to reduce the pattern/amount of pedal screws because the shoes are so sticky!

Q: do i not need to remove studs on my current pedals ? studs are quite damaging to my regular runners probably because there soft sole.

No you do not need to remove the pedal studs. Their soles are made of a very sticky rubber that does not get damaged by the studs. In fact, these shoes are a game changer for me!
