Nice RJ45 Inserts, Excellent Protective Measures for installs while under construction.We use this on Most of our Point of Sale Projects, Consistent Quality, Fair Price, Excellent for our needs.Simple way to keep dust and moisture out of Jacks during final stages of Construction and excellent at keeping you RJ45 Cat5E/6/6A jack from getting damaged by general dust and debris during normal business.A bit pricy but we color coordinate for Voice/Data Dual Cat5E/6 Runs Makes it easy to assist with adds when you're not on site.There is a Cheaper solid black option.

I bought these for moving our large server room to a new location. Since we have redundant providers for both internal and external services on top of our standard/virtual servers I don't want to have a "what plugs where" situation when the equipment reaches the other site. I am using several colors to set up a quick reference (black means not connected, green is internal, red is external, etc.). This approach has worked very well for me in the past.

I've used a few other makes that were less expensive, and the other makers fit was just ok.These from RJ fit more consistently and perfectly snug w/o being too tight, and on the tighter cluster of ports fit side by side better than the other makers dust plugs.The others are a tad but more cost effective, when you consider the shipping RJ charged at the time I purchased these.I give the product and timelyness for handling the order 5 stars,but 3 stars for shipping cost, which adds to the total price of these, making the price at the premium end for these.BUT they are better compared to what I used in the past.update 4-2015 , just used another 20-30 or so from the 100pack while stuffing a new server cabinet.I like to plug up any un-used ports, to keep 'em clean.all fit great, and were a tight fit into the jacks.fit into tight rows of RJ45's as wel.just ordered another pack of 100.

Delivered quickly. Product is great quality - offering a very snug fit to keep the dust out and just enough flexibility in the material to get installed or removed. The blue color is a slight shade to the purple side.

Worked, no issues.

Quite a simple device. Used them to close some bad ports that were blown out by an electrical storm. Works like you would expect and they have a nice snug fit.

Tight friction fit in netgear switches. Very product!

Fits well and cleans up network rack.
