Great Sound A dry over drive type

Great pickup
I purchased this to replace the middle pickup in my strat. Love it. I'm using the Dave Murray setup, so I have hot rails in the neck and bridge and this in the middle. Sounds great. I liked my Texas specials a lot, but they only sound good with blues. And they were sooooooo glassy. I loved them too, but I wanted something more warm and creamy and versatile. I found it with this and the hot rails. Now I actually catch myself using any of the three pickups isolated and they sound awesome.
