Beyond expectations!
While I have had Jasmine green/white tea before, this is the first time I had an infusion of Jasmine tea flowers with no other addition. And I am just going to say it- it was simply divine!I am big fan of floral infusions & Jasmine is a no brainer with its enchanting fragrance and a subtle but sublime flavour. If you are planning on Japanese tea meditation, THIS is the tea you want to pick for it. Which is basically another way of saying that this tea can really make you feel centered and calm. You can see your nervous/anxious energies dissipating and a sense of serenity enveloping you.Jasmine flowers are known for a wide range of health benefits but I am predominantly using it to combat the stress of living in pandemic times. The infusion relaxes me and keeps me alert, quite a unique combination if you as me.Also, I love the fact that the flowers work for a second infusion too. The scent is milder but it still has strength. I went a step further and made a third brew, this time adding it to plain green tea and voila, I had green tea with the faintest jasmine smell! This is the first time I have tried this brand 'One Herb' and I am impressed!

INDIAN JASMINE TEA
After numerous visits to China, I am familiar with several varieties of jasmine tea. The most common type contains green tea mixed with dried petals. Some premium varieties appear to contain just green tea leaves, but they are infused with oil of jasmine, which releases a strong fragrance after it comes in contact with water. Other premium varieties contain dried jasmine buds, which look like tiny pellets but open like magic when hot water is added. This product, branded One Herb from the "Indian Chai" stable, does not belong to any of the types mentioned above. It contains delicate petals whose shape and colour is intact. It can be steeped by itself, or preferably mixed with plain green tea, to disguise the bitterness and add fragrance to the brew.I am very glad to find a reasonably priced Indian jasmine tea which is as good as the Chinese ones.

no fragrance
this product Only smells of dried flowers. No jasmine fragrance whatsoever. I googled this and it seems jasmine flowers in jasmine green tea have to be dried along with the green tea so that as they dry they release their fragrance and oils in the green tea. But if they are dried just like that without any green tea then the smell just evaporates. hey ... request You to spare a moment to click helpful below if you’re reading this. Thanks a ton.
